I have this issue where the Reiklings are just purple, so no textures. IDK why this happens but the reikling looks just fine when a sex starts so i wonder why that is? anyone know why?I havent installed any reikling texture mods, and it only happens with Reiklings. I have ABC and More nasty critters installed too

The issue is going to be in the riekling mesh. You have something that replaces the mesh and changes the texture paths, but then for some reason does not provide textures.

Find the mod(s) changing these files: meshes\actors\dlc02\riekling\character assets\riekling*.nif

A faster way of going about this might be to get More Informative Console and select one of the purple actors. It might be able to point out missing textures.

Otherwise DIY:

  1. Find a purple actor.
  2. Open the console and select them.
  3. inv
  4. Note down all items marked as worn.
  5. Close the game, start xEdit, don't change the load order.
  6. Go through each worn item.
  7. Go through each associated ARMA record.
  8. Make a list of all meshes mentioned in these.
  9. Close xEdit, open NifSkope.
  10. Go through each mesh in your list.
  11. Make sure the textures these meshes reference exist and can be loaded.

Informative Console is the single most valuable debugging tool on AE, haha.

I tracked down all the textures.

Cannot tell what went wrong where, but I did this:

- download End Be All for LE -> converted with Cathedral to SE (was faster than searching the SE version)
- reinstalled ABC and ticked the patch for it to be 100% sure its the correct patch

-> worked.
At least for all the Rieklings I spawned thus far.

Possible cause might just be the wrong patch when installing ABC

thx so far.

My Step guide for MNC is now 2 pages long i think...

I had the same problem when I started with SE last year.

Installed End All Be All (I used it with LE) and the problem was solved. Never got around to figuring out whether it was a file path issue or what.
