angrybean420 Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 (edited) Hey guys, I am new into modding Fallout 4 and have a problem with the male textures/body, I am sitting trying to fix it for days but maybe somebody can help me on this way. First I installed FSM Body Textures Extreme, CBBE and the skeletal adjustmants for CBBE for my female charakter. (and AAF, Animations, 140+ mods...) To this point everything is working quite well. But because of the missing p*nis in the animations I wanted to install a body for males. After reading every thread in LL I installed ZEX Extended Skeleton (making sure its not overwritten) and Bodytalk. Suddenly every animation is completly bugy and the eyes start to hurt seeing them. I saw in a thread with a similar problem, that turning off the skeletal adjustmants for CBBE could help, but then my female body is buging around. And I tried only installing Bodytalk without the Zex Skeleton, but that is bugy too. Does anybody know what I did wrong or have an idea what to do ? Thank you very much Edited September 7, 2022 by angrybean420

Thank you very much There are mods that allow to have separate skeleton for male and female, butof course using FG instead of CBBE is best option 1

FG constantly breaks stuff every update to where all conversions need to be remade with each new update. And most conversions don't work properly or are not done well (because they require different versions of FG that won't work on the current version). FG is a mess when it comes to conversions and finding working armors/clothes that cover everything, that work with the current version of FG and not older versions only, is just all over the place. The only thing easy about it, is that it uses the same skeleton as BodyTalk/Atomic Muscle. Otherwise for me personally, it wasn't worth the hassle with all the issues it had. Not to mention, CBBE just has way more support than FG does, and CBBE is just the most compatible with a lot more mods than FG/ZeX. @angrybean420 You don't have to switch to FG if you want to continue using CBBE. It's not the best option to switch, as you can have CBBE and BodyTalk working just fine together. You need Discrete Female Skeleton. Install ZeX skeleton as normal (for BodyTalk), then install DFS. Then you can install Skeletal Adjustments with the DFS option (in the installer). It will install to the proper location on it's own and you now have both ZeX working for males, and Skeletal Adjustments working for females. Might seem complicated, but it's really not. It's really easy to setup and use, and I've never ran into a single problem with it. Edited September 8, 2022 by Spyder Arachnid 1

Several are for older versions of FG, which won't work with the current version. And not all of the base game + DLC armors have been converted for FG either (at least, once again, not the current version of FG). I've been through it all before. Heck, a little over a month ago I thought I would try FG. Had to junk over half my mods because they weren't compatible with FG, armors not having conversions or the conversions they did have, were for older versions of FG that were broken with the current version of FG. It was such a headache playing trial and error with what mods worked and didn't work with the current version of FG, that I just went back to CBBE because it wasn't worth the hassle. CBBE is just more reliable, stable, and more compatible with everything. Maybe when FG releases a final version and ZeX updates to be more compatible with other mods, then it would be better. But in its current state, it is not the "Best" option to switch to FG over CBBE. If you want to use FG, then use FG. But telling people it is better to switch to FG when they are using CBBE, is just not true.
