i've been having an issue where I can't open the SGO4 menu after starting a new save, it kept all my presets, but i can't do anything other than opening the widget. its activated.

Double check the load order of them esp's. this esp needs to load before the  dse-soulgem esp.  If you use vortex too i had to make it custom rule to force it to load this way

You put em in the wrong place, The tutorial you followed is for custom normals outside of the default options, for when a character has a non standard normalmap.

The default normalmap path is textures\dw\pregnormals, so you can just move the folder in Exampleoverride folder, into the pregnormals folder and things should work.

Intended, every npc "father" produces a different tier of gem, by default petty, check outputs.json to configure.

Same with fragment insertion.

Hi :)  Is it possible for us to set a cap on maximum capacity?  Or have it when item's are produced they get stacked?  Ive tried with the setting for direct inventory instead of it droping on the ground,  but for my current game, its play pick-up with 100+ bottles, or watch 100+ inventroty added

 Yeah I figured it out later, didn't need just the OStim patch. Doesn't seem to be causing me any issues just having it exist so this mod can load though which is nice.

Mod is working fine so far, thanks for putting it together. Did have a couple gameplay/effect questions.

1) I see vein overlays were added, but I'm not sure how to get them to appear on my character in the game. Do I need the same skin (Diamond) that the original author of the overlay used? Or were they ported to this mod and apply to all skins? I'm a Bijin user but I'm not glued to it.

 

2) How do I begin birthing filled soul gems? How exactly does gem leveling work? SGO3 was a lot more straight forward with getting gems birthed and filled, kind of confused as to how the mod functions/progresses now.

I know when the output.json was first created a while back, it was unable to be altered, and would return to default settings regardless of edits. Does this mean we are now able to freely change values such as gem output quantity and type?

Hello, the "essence of soul oven corruption", is properly implemented? Also if it is, it works with the ID of the soul gems and not with their names?

You already have a level cap, it effectively limits the maximum amount of milks an actor can have.

2: you would have to change the outputs.json to point to filled instead of empty soulgems.

Yes, the soul gem oven corruption is implemented, but it has nothing to do with ID's, please rephrase your question.

I have a sorting mod for soul gems, i want to know if it will let me insert soul gem to impregnate my character if I use the soul gem corruption.

No, you can only insert soulgem fragments currently.

Is this the location? configs\dse-soulgem-oven\settings if so then I don't see this option, I only noticed milkerproduce line.

I was meaning more of a cap for seamen, i found that it has no upper limit and it gets filled extremily fast. Would the config reconginize "ActorSeamenMax" if i was to add it to custom.json?  

 

i only have about 60 seamen corruption but with in 5 minites its back to over 200+.  Then the other thing is it will spawn all 200+ or spam item pickup when using direct to inventory.

the setting is in the "scanner options" section, Called "AutoEnableMilk"

Oh, right, semen extraction. Tbh its kind of a forgotten feature, and hasn't been updated to fit the Inflation update.

Previously, An actor generally only had 1-3 loads, and with that extracting into semen bottles was manageable.

Currently, to accommodate the inflation system, an actor can have anything between 1 and whatever loads, which gets kind of absurd if you start extracting into bottles.

Will probably completely remove semen extraction, and instead make actor play a sexlab scene.

So I figured out the JSON thing reading through comments, but for the veins overlay... I see it in RaceMenu. I can modify it and have it work while in RaceMenu. Any changes I make to it are immediately undone (to make it invisible and not appear) once leaving RaceMenu and I highly suspect that is SGO working as intended; it manages the overlay.

What exactly do I need to do with SGO to get it to do something with the overlay? Boost milk corruption massively? Regular milking XP? A certain number of gem births? I've been using the mod for a week now, and once again, it kicks ass so thank you. But I have no idea what actually influences making the veins appear and I've been playing with the mod for a while. Currently on 1.92 so maybe it's something fixed in 1.93 but I doubt it as it appears to not be a new addition.

EDIT: Also, out of curiosity, why aren't the soul gems filled like in SGO3? I feel like they should be based on what is actually happening with the character. The way I RP this is my character is a Dark Sorceress who has modified her body (and her slaves' bodies) to give birth to Soul Gems instead of babies. The souls that would be put into babies are instead put into black soul gems. Which is obviously pretty dark but I don't understand how creating soul gems in a womb would work without a soul to create them.

the current values are empty soulgem formid's, change the values to filled ones. google is your friend.

What's the value called? None of the values seem to associate with "veins" or "opacity"

EDIT: Nevermind, I was in the original default.json

Oh, no. I'm not asking about filled vs empty. I just want black soul gems. I can fill them fine on my own. No shortage of bandits, murderers, and assorted psychos in Skyrim.

 

Anyways, I took a shot at tinkering under the assumption that gemrate min and max was what I wanted to change. To what I'm unsure since the numbers go higher than I'd expect if its just the "level" of the soul gem.

just change the formid output from whatever unfilled low tier gem you currently have, to a unfilled black soulgem, or anything else for that matter.

Would that just result in all the gems being black though? I'd like to have it so the level of the mother's corruption determine's the gem rather than the father.

Not sure if it's a bug, or just I am failing to figure it out after several days of troubleshooting, but I do not believe inflation works with just anal sex. Vaginal works no problem, and inflates according to the output stats etc. But anal sex animations with climax do not produce inflation on the character.

 

The system correctly registers ejaculation of the character, and expends semen without an issue. But the "inflation" stat visible in the debug screen does not go up. Sliders work fine, debugging max inflation works fine, inflation via vaginal works fine.

 

Using latest SGOIF with Hotfix3, and P+.
