Sims 4 will not Safe or keep family,Relationship,ages up to date

Since the update and updating whickewhims and Basemental drugs and temporarily deleting Nisa's perversions as i cannot find an updated version that works. I have found that my sims game does not update and save relationships and other stuff i need to put them in another house eachtime before the data even saves... anyone any ideas what can be causing this?

I'm having some similar issues. My SIMS inventory items are gone, changes not saved, house isn't on the lot. It's like it saves but goes backwards to before I added everything.

Same. MC Command Center and WickedWhims are up to date, deleted Basemental entirely, saves don't seem to actually save most changes, and I've got no clue where the problem is.

Most of these save issues are caused from the last game update by EA breaking things.

But not everyone has that problem either.

EA doesn't expect a fix released until late next week.

Isn't that due to the new DLC that you paid $40 for? isn't there a message NOT to play with the life span anything but normal?

even with those settings my game did that hence i made this post but yeah there was a message to put it on normal wich i did xd

Set to normal age span first and then disable all aging.

But all that does is temp. fix the aging bug.

 

The saving bug is totally different.

Sorry that that many people got the same issue, but also glad that I am not the only one. I found that instead of using the regular "save" function, try using "save as" and make a new copy of your save. Next time when you load the game, make sure to load the more recent copy of save as a workaround. However, if you edit your sim in CAS and exit, all previous changes (houses, date, relationship) will be reset.

Because without WW I didn't have the problems when I took it out of my game, but I'm not sure anymore ?

It's so annoying that I can't get into the CAS without the time being reset ?

My game is completely unplayable because of this time revert bug. Last night I spent hours saving all my households & favorite lots to my gallery and creating an entirely new fresh save with them.

 

The only mod I added was WW with the teen sex fix. My game ran amazingly for about 2 hours and then suddenly it reverted back to the backwards time jump bug. I feel like Sims4 is too boring without WW but I'm also invested in my Sims' lives so I can't walk away. I don't know what to do!

Having the same issues, I started playing with aging off, didn't have any issues with aging up.  When going to CAS and back the game reverts to a prior save. The changes made in cas are ok, but inventory is empty and relationships disappear.  Tried saving as (new save) just before going to cas and it didn't help.  Guess I'll stop playing for while until it's fixed.

Yes same. I have also saved my families now and will probably start from the beginning as well.
I'm running the fix update now that came from Ea today, but a friend told me she still had the problem, I'll see.

I feel the same way, the mods make the game much more interesting and much more fun.

Ok after the fix update it still doesn't work for me.

I'm throwing MCC out again now, although it always occurs on WW when I put it in game. I'm repairing the game now too and I've been deleting the local for no idea how many times. I really have no idea anymore.

 

Edit: The bug only shows up for me when my Sims have had sex. Before that I could go into the CAS and nothing would reset. Then I let her have sex and tried again in CAS and then it didn't work anymore.

so after the fix its still a problem? i guess this means TurboDriver has to fix WW cause then it is probably a WW problem? or well... EA fixed 1 thing and forgot about the other... to soon to write that off xD we know how EA is

Yes, it still didn't worked for me xD. It was suggested to me in the other thread that I should test the previous version of WW.

But I had enough of that yesterday and saved my families and everything to the library and started a whole new game, i was so pissed ? .

And it seems to be working, everything is fine so far. I think the EA update just destroyed my entire savegame ?

I'll keep an eye on that, but maybe that's the only solution. Anyway, that was the last option I had because nothing else for me worked.

Can confirm that after 8.2.22 fix it's still a problem. The only mod I have is WW in my fresh hood. I had to play for several hours yesterday to get the bug to appear but it did. It did not happen with CAS though. It happened after I had played a household for a few days and then switched over to a different house. Time had reverted back by several days and all my WW settings had reset. I'm terrified to see if my toddler is still alive in the other household.

So much to keep an eye on it... the bug is partly back.

I really don't understand what it can be.

I'm in the game, loaded my new save as normal, wasn't in my household, my Sims didn't have sex, etc. I was on a new lot and built a house, go to the neighborhood and to the family and the relationships are reset again, but my House and lot was saved. 

I didn't have the problem with the relationships before, it seems that when one bug goes, another shows up.

It is to despair ?

Despair is right! That relationship bug is almost worse than losing time!

 

This morning before work I played for less than an hour. Started the game &  loaded into the same house I was in last night but it was suddenly 5:56am & WW settings were gone. I loaded my settings, saved, exited, re-entered lot and it was 5:56am again. My couple had normal try for baby woohoo, dad went off to work, mom did some redecorating including a thermostat on the wall. At some point, I don't remember when, I left the lot and when I came back the thermostat was gone. 

 

I played for no more than an hour and had a few bugs. I've gotten into the habit of clearing cache and localthumbcache before each session so theoretically I didn't have residual funk from last night's bugs. 

 

I miss the days when I could switch between households, go into CAS, and have sex without worrying lol

On a Reddit a completely vanilla player has reported the same issues. 

I feel like that's an important piece of evidence against the game itself.

hi it's firt time to me to post a message because my english is very bad, but i have this problem too and it's very boring...

i'm like Bill Muray on "Groundhog Day" it's always the same day...

is it posible to come back to the version 1,89 ??? because i regeret to do this last update!

Haven't checked on this issue yet...because I can't get that far into the game....It  loads fine, but when I go to CAS or try to get one of my families going , the sims are without clothing or cd skins or anything, go into CAS to see if I can fix that and the heads become distorted and basically unfixable..  Also clicking on the eyes for example, there ore no eye colors .... just the boxes where they should be, I can change the shape of the eyes, but that's it...same thing in the skin colors...90% are just black squares and the ones that have a skin tone showing, doesn't matter how much you click on them the skin on the sim stays the same.  Also , the bottom tool bars (phone, needs,, etc) are all blank.

Upsets me, two days earlier I had the tool bar issues and some things were just funky acting....reloaded my game, updated WW, Nisa and another non LL mod and everyting worked fine until I got the new DLC....game is basically unplayable....redownloaded  the newest WW and Nisa as well as Deaderpool mod this afternoon...think I'll just say good bye to the game until EA (bless their little pea picking hearts) repairs what they broke.

Now I think I'll let the nice nurse tie my restraints up again and try not to think about S4

Shame to say EA broke the versions before by the update to, and not good at english is fine! we understood what you meant! i am from Flemish Belgium myself ( recently moved to Sweden)

Never had those errors myself but those sound very dire, do you also have these troubles if you take all your mods off? if not then you can try installing WW alone at first, test it if its fine add Nisa and test it again. and if that is still fine add Deaderpool and test, basicly going through a list of elimination to check if its Sims 4 WW or Nisa or Deaderpool causing it  it is what i did to find out that saving issues for me persist with just WW installed after they have sex
