Sims 4 will not Safe or keep family,Relationship,ages up to date

XyrenDaeia---Thought I'd let you know...took literally everything out of the mods folder, except clothing, furniture and acces.  fixed the problem ...sort of... none of the swatches are available, no colors  or anything.  Really bizarre,   Doesn't matter if for example you want to add a different color,  the boxes are there  with no colors in them, and if you click on the box...nothing happens.   Hairstyles, you get the color that first comes up with no other swatches being shown...all the CAS stuff is the same.   I'm kind of thinking it might be something in the latest update that's doing this....but am going to keep trying to fix it on my own....but taking everything out and replacing one thing at a time.....
