Hello everyone, I found a post about using 3dmigoto to achieve animation, I think it is very interesting, is there any mod author's intention to do such an effect?

My English is not very good. I guess I made dozens or even hundreds of sets of the same model, and used 3dmigoto to realize the switching cycle of different positions to achieve the animation effect....

I have 0 experience with the Trails series but am looking into getting some JRPGs for Steam Deck, is this a good one to start for the trails series or would I have to go back to some other entries?

Even ignoring that this game isn't available in English yet, I'd still not recommend starting here. Playing release order is my recommendation. So the Sky games, followed by Crossbell, then Cold Steel, then Reverie, then Kuro.

What they said. Best way is to start with Sky. Sky games run great on Deck. You can even use the voice acting/ost mods on it.

I also recommend Sky first, but I understand if you want to mess around with lewd / nude mods right away, then cold steel 1 is a decent place to get introduced to the series. Just know that you’ll want to return to the beginning after cold steel 2.

 

I played roughly in US release order (Sky1, Sky2, CS1, CS2, Sky3… then geofront) it wasn’t the end of the world. There was a part at the end of CS2 that fell pretty flat though, since I hadn’t played certain prior games.

 

Also, I had heard that Kuro was meant to be a reasonable new entry point, I haven’t played it yet though. (I mainly replied to say it’s not a sin to start with CS1, even if Japanese release order is best.)

Kuro isn't really a reasonable entry point. That's a think companies say so you can buy their new game, but its really not true.

I almost want a full 3d remake of the Sky/Crossbell games for the lewd mod potential. I'm sure it's possible to do something with them now but you'd have to be an insane pixel artist for not much gain.

I recently decided to do it, a mod for Hajimari no Kiseki, but I found an early T4 call related to lighting or reflection (the KURO NO KISEKI also exists), I tried to change the texture check of solid color or normal, but both does not meet the requirements. Otherwise, I actually want to change everyone's default clothing, including NPCs of course, so that there will be a better performance. I hope my girls have a little decoration on their bodies, not naked.
My idea is to disable t4 directly, but I don't do it.
Are there any related commands in the 3dmigoto, confused.

I can't wait for Kuro 2's PC port. I hope the work done on these lewd overhauls will be easy to port over. It'll ease the pain for the wait for an english patch (hopefully).

It is not possible to change the shader call with 3DMigoto. @lakovic has attempted with very unpredictable responses. You need model repack tools, I would inquire at the Kiseki modding discord! (They have tools for Hajimari but not for Kuro FYI)

I wouldn’t be surprised if the discord folks dump the whole game quickly, but I suspect the next spreadsheet might be done with machine translation. Who knows though…

This looks amazing, @lakovic!  I do not think your mod violates forum rules at all, since they are your creation and not unaltered assets.  They might make a certain game company mad, but if you do not tell them then I will not either.  ?  In the meantime, I'm definitely saving (and backing up) my copy!  ?

Excellent work as usual! I wonder, do you think it would be possible to do a version of the strippers (except Olympia, she's fine the way she is) where they have their bottoms, the panties and garters, from their outfits but are topless instead? I'd like that more visually than bottomless.  Also, unrelated, but have you ever considered doing a mod suite for CS3 as well? I know you've done them for Hajimari and CS4.

Sorry for replying to you after such a long time, some reasons in China cause the network to be very poor, I can hardly access the foreign network.
