SIMS 4 to VAM (virtamate) Animations transfer

Hi All,

 

Few months back i came across VAM (Virtamate) , VR Game which is super high quality 3D Graphics game. After playing VAM, Honestly i have no interest left in Playing SIMS 4 because of so many possibilities to do customizations, with audios and so many developers contributing with useful Plugins and VAM is growing big with community increasing and growing fast with so many people making assets, plugins, characters etc. SIMS 4 game has many excellent sex animations on wicked whims. I came across feature in Blender with name "Autorig" which can do bine mappings and easily transfer animations from one rig to another.

VAM use DAZ 3D Genesis 2 rig which is 1000 times large in size and resolution in comparison to sims 4 rig and quality is super high. 

 

My question is-

1.) Did any one attempted to transfer existing animations from one rig to another with bone mapping? does it work well, i was trying but it didn't work 100% perfectly for me.

2.) SIMS 4 game has got great contributions from @Motherlodesims , @GreyNaya @Anarcis @Khlas and i used to subscribe you guys on patreon for getting your animations but after getting taste of VAM, i stopped playing SIMS 4. Wish to see some of the excellent animators of SIMS 4 Game to be making content for VAM, Future for sex games is VR, mocap. VAM is getting very popular day by day , if you have not tried it yet please try. you will be amazed with quality of animations and visuals.

Literally word for word they talked about VR when it was first released - the future of the entire game industry. But it's still not developing as it should and the main investors seem to have lost interest in this toy. This is really a toy for a short time, I speak as the owner of both of them - Oculus quest 2 and PS VR. The truth is that this is actually an amazing and incomparable gaming experience but it gets boring as quickly as it gets exciting at first. It's kind of a paradox and it's not just me. My friends who use it have a similar thoughts about that - "Wow!" at the start, "Meh.." a week later, lol. 

About sex games for VR, I tried it once. It's fun and as I said above you like - "Woooow that's awesome!". But since that time there was no wish to repeat. 

I think there will be a really revolutionary breakthrough when they'll be able to recreate the semblance of tactile sensation. The main thing is that it's not dangerous for your health cuz to die by electrical impulses while you're jerking off is pretty grotesque shit, lol.

I don't use VR Devices to play, i play it on laptop/desktop. same with sims 4. these days graphics cards are lot more powerful and quality of movies , 3d graphics you can get in Virtamate is amazing. Some of the people selling animations for virtamate are having around 1000 plus patron followers, so lot of people are playing and lot of people are making good money. i love your animations, wish you could find ways to convert your existing sims 4 animations to VAM (Virtamate). as a player i will be happy to get your animations on VAM and you might make double by having one animation available on two games

I've fooled around with VAM and its animation editor and quite liked it! I'm really waiting for it to develop a little further - it still has a bit too much of the Daz-y sheen about it unless you shunt a ton of 3rd party material in it. Most of all it's a lack of time, though - current animation commitments plus other work really don't leave enough time for me to come to grips with VAM's convoluted editor  I'm certainly interested, though! I'd love to make entirely self-contained scenarios and may try my hand at them some time - add some dialogues, some choices, etc.

 

On the technical side, I haven't attempted anything rig-related but the Genesis 2 skeletons have quite a bit more bones than our sims (I think), so I'm not sure a transfer would work.

The point is not use you personally VR to play games or not but that without huge investment by the game industry it not get progress. In fact, it has been in a state of stagnation since the release. That's why I said about games and investors in the first post - without this, there's no "future for sex games" and it stay just another gaming device in the collection like Nintendo, for instance. 

I have no doubt people earn good money by working on it cuz porn is an area that will always be bring money. Sex is what people will always need so there are no surprises here, really. But I'm not working because of money. Maybe it sound too altruistic so let's say that money is important but far from the first place for me. I love animating and I like the fact that people use it for their gameplay. The gameplay component is crucial here and without any doubt I would stop doing it if I had to create porn in order just to create more porn lol. The funny is I don't play The Sims myself but know that for a lot of people this game is a great way to take a break from reality and relieve the stress. So, it's nice to realize that your work contributes to this, as well as the work of many others creators. 

I appreciate your words about my animations, but as I answered you earlier, one of my principle about work is individuality in projects.

Thanks Anarcis. I used to subscribe on patreon for your animations, grey naya animations and motherlodesims animations but now i have lost interest in SIMS but still missing your creative animations. Someone created MMD Player and did bone mapping with genesis 2 model and now all the VMD Files can be played within VAM.  Check this video and quality, hope @GreyNaya going to like this quality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bpBruNx9Rk

People making MOCAP Animations on VAM are making good money, i am not expert in blender like you guys but i did made attempt to do bone mapping with SIMS 4 Rig and i got almost 60% success. If you can map bones, you can even sell your existing SIMS 4 Animatons as BVH Files to be played in VAM. VAM Supports BVH Player as well.

Wish SIMS  can have option to use bit higher resolution rig and give option to people to have exprerience like VAM if they have more hardware resources to play.

I understand your devotion for SIMS 4 Animations now  . I enjoyed playing with MMD Player, using VMD Files on VAM Game. it gives me this quality- check this FEARLESS Music video song. wish SIMS 4 can have all this some day.
