In my mod there is a settings menu where I can turn the camera on and off with one button using vanilla and optionally a mod camera. There are a lot of settings, this is very important, I don't need a stupid camera without MCM. At the moment there is not a single normal camera from 1 person in SE

That old version doesn't seem to have source code available. So very difficult to see a port of that in the near future, or ever. If you can't use any of the available IFPV versions for SE or make Improved Camera work without an MCM (why would you need an MCM for this, idk) you're out of luck.
