Zeroda Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Hey guys, I just packed my bags to move to Skyrim and be staying there for 2 years to see how it will turn out. Â Maybe we can exchange our addresses we can stay in contact with each other to hang our and grab a beer or kill some dragons along the way etc. Â /end joke --------- I'm playing Skyrim on x360 here in Holland and I must say it's a really good game to play and I hope in the future we can mod this as well as we mod Oblivion. To all who have it already, enjoy! Â Also bought the pc version....talk about being a TES-fan! Â
Presto Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Only 2 years? I was planning on 5-6 or until the next game comes out
Mashi Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Oh why must you taunt me so? Only 14 hrs to go...
Zeroda Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 It's just my initial moving period into a new area. Can't wait, can't wait! *rubs the fabric of the worldmap*
pandabear Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 So, how is that fabric anyway, I'm just curious. Is it like cloth? Or more of a cloth-paper hybrid? Â My pre-load finally started, so I'm going to catch the early flight to Skyrim.
Zeroda Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 It feels like paper-cotton hybrid... and it smells like cotton that's been painted on  25% pre-load!
pandabear Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 It feels like paper-cotton hybrid... and it smells like cotton that's been painted on  25% pre-load!  Aha, I guess they needed some paper in the mix to make the printing easier. *shrug*  I would've preordered the physical version, but then I wouldn't be ready to play at midnight, most likely. (retailers here post it so it arrives 11.11.2011)  68 % here.
dewguru Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I gave in and bought both a copy for the 360 and PC too. My thought was that I enjoy playing my Xbox more than I enjoy playing on my PC, so I'll use the console version first, then when the mods begin coming out, I'll switch over to my PC version. Â I have to admit that I've done the same with Oblivion, FO3, and FONV.
Mouse Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 My Skyrim box arrived, but can't of course install it before tomorrow (Steam and all). But, I do have the map at least .
HanPL Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 @Mouse  I have the same thing but you can Pre-load game on steam just click "load " option   Â
Zeroda Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 Pre-load complete! Â *still playing Skyrim on 360 till pc launches* Â Damn the intro is B.A. and the story so far is great!
zinaidazeal Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I'm soooooo jelly you made it to Skyrim already. I'm a bit lagged by these blasted Jerall Mountains. I'm about an hour away though can't wait to see everything.
Chase Roxand Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 On the PC version now. I only had a few hours to play so far (damn you, homework!), but it looks like I'm never going back to Oblivion.
Mouse Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 It's already past midnight and still the game claims that the game has not been released yet. I hope that it does get released for me sometime during today (though I am not going to hold my breath).
Guest Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Oh! You're moving to skyrim for 2 years?! Cya back in 4!!
Med111 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 HanPL, got any info when Steam unlocks this for us? It's a shame, that people in Europe are already playing it, except in Poland.
LordJerle Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 12:01 AM Eastern time, 9:01 PM Pacific time.
Mouse Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I was able to install the game after 2 AM, so it certainly wasn't tied to the midnight for me.
