Can't remove pubic hair

Recommended Posts

I attempt to remove pubic hair using WickedWhims Style option. Which it does, but there is another layer that can't be removed.

I don't have CC like this, I can't remove it in CAS (Even with Fulleditmode)

It doesn't happen on newly created Sims

All my mods are up to date, no warning nor LE.

I know someone had a similar issue but I can't find the thread.

Hi, I remember someone else having a similar problem a while back.

If you could please post a screen shot of your problem I'll do my best to help you figure it out.

In the mean time it might be worth checking for skin overlays, or even tattoos that have been applied to the affected sims, even accessories (I think it was sstormmy who had an accessory for 3D pubic hair?)

I know you said you have installed any CC like this, but if you've downloaded another creators' sims they might have applied default replacements for skin etc.

(huge fan of your CC btw keep up the good work!)

since the base game does not provide any pubic hair, it has to be some mod/CC ;)
maybe it is in a merged package or whatever.
remove all your mods, except WW and create a new sim and savegame and check again.

If the pubic hair is gone, you have a mod/CC causing it - if so, you will have to figure out, which CC is doing it, by putting in only a few mods/CC at the time, start the game and check, until you find the broken CC

Thank you!

I launched the game with WickedWhims as the only mod, and I have the same issue.

If you look closely you can see there is two layers.

As a workaround I can "clone" my Sims with MCCC, since newly created sims don't have this issue. But that's not a definite solution.

Try resetting the Sims nude outfit with the following console command:

ww.fix_all_sims_nude_outfit

Didn't work unfortunately.

But copy/pasting my Sims using MCCC worked nicely as a workaround.

It is probably baked into your save game.  The only way to solve it completely would be to remove WW from your Mods folder and then go into CAS and re-save all of your households.  Once you have done that, move WW back into your Mods folder.

@Littledoxy

There's a way to check if there's any CC applied to the sim using Sims 4 Tray Importer,

re-enable all of your mods and save your sim to the gallery.

and open the household in S4TI, you can go to the cc tab and check or export the household with cc in the files tab and view the cc in the zip folder (which is easier to read through in my opinion)

I ran into this problem once. The culprit at the time was having the dynamic pubic hair function active. Sims would get stuck with the pubic hair that the mod assigned.

@SkyBarbie provided some very good advice.

What you have to do at this point is create a "clean save" without WhickedWhims: installed.

What you need to do in this situation is to remove WhickedWhims entirely. (Be sure to delete your localthumbcache .packagke file in your Sims 4 directory. - which you should always do when changing anything in your Mods setup)

- Load up the save

- Make a new save without WW

At that point it should clear anything related to pubic hair (or WW for that matter).

There is a caveat with this though. If you play with other WW functions active such as the Attraction system, everything will be reset as well.

Put WW back in and it should be cleared.

I know this thread is old, but I wanted to leave this here in case anyone has this problem again. Run the ww.fix cheat in the command line and it should remove the hair.

Just ww.fix by itself, not the ww.fix_all_sims_nude_outfit command.

After a long search for this issue I found the solution.

The pubic hair and the tan lines are attached in CAS. You have to click on the face and disable it under face details.
