Hi all, it's my first time posting on this forum but I would love to know what skin texture was used in these screenshots and where I can find it:

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34668/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D34668%26preview%3D&pUp=1

It's actually a retexture for the Osare Hotpants mod, but you can apply the tattoos to your own skin texture using Photoshop or a similar program.

Thanks for your reply, I know that it's a retexture to the Osare Hotpants mod but what is the SKIN texture on the character?

Sorry, I misunderstood your question then; I thought you were referring to the tattoos.

The actual skin texture looks a little like the Fair Skin Complexion texture combined with the UNP Delicate normal map, which both used to be on the Nexus but aren't anymore; I found a link to it here:

Fair Skin (http://gamer-mods.ru/load/skyrim/kosmeticheskie_modifikacii/kozha_dlja_svve_i_envision_facefair_skin_complexion_for_cbbe_envison_face_v3_0/14-1-0-464)

Delicate (http://gamer-mods.ru/load/skyrim/replejsery_tel/skyrim_delikatnoe_telo_unp_unpb_unpc_v4_1_unp_delicate_unpb_unpc/7-1-0-1065)

Maybe this is what you are looking for.

It's ok, and thanks for providing those links; although I am already using the Fair Skin texture but it isn't as pale as in the persons screenshots.  :(

I will have to try out those textures hopefully they will be the same ones, if not could it be something else?

If you want to go for really, really pale skin, you have a few options.

1) Modify the textures using photoshop - brighten them up, desaturate them, etc.

2) Use something like ECE or Racemenu where you can define a custom skin color

3) Alternatively, create a custom skin tone in the creation kit and add it to your race

I don't recommend #2 as the skin no matter how white/pale you make it the skin will always retain a brownish tint to it.

I have the Race menu mod installed, which has the extended sliders, I tried altering the skin, using the sliders, to make it paler but eventually gave up as it would never come out right.

Thank you for posting this, I'm going to try altering the fair skin texture, whilst I wait for a reply from tanishin.

You can use GIMP for #1, and it's free.

I use an old version of ECE with predefined skin colors. It has some that are pinkish. I'm too lazy to use either RaceMenu or the newer, complicated ECE to make characters, but it would be very surprising if you couldn't make non-brownish skin tones with the newer ECE. And I know what you mean by the brownish skin tones. The custom races that aren't affected by my ancient ECE version look brownish compared to the ones that have the additional skin tone color palettes.

I have the photoshop free trial installed and I've edited the body texture, sortof. :/ Is there anyway to make only the blue veins stand out more; like only saturate the blue in the image?

Color tone, switch to the blue tone and saturate the blue more.

BTW Photoshop CS2 is free and also working with the NVIDIA DDS PS Tool, is more organized than GIMP and for everyone who just want to change game textures more than enough.

Nexus is terrible lately, I don't know why I bother with it sometimes, oh wait, it's because it's the only bloody place 95% of Skyrim mods get uploaded to.

Seriously, for such a prominent community hub for one of the most epic games of this decade you'd think they could afford to spend a little on their infrastructure so that their damn site has more than a 50% uptime.
