(1) Basic structure of TMC model There are multiple ObjGeo. - ObjGeo defines an object (mesh group), and contains a GeoDecl and multiple mesh headers. - GeoDecl contains multiple GeoDecl datas. - GeoDecl data defines vertex data format. - Mesh header defines how many vertices/faces are there in the mesh. And mesh header depends on a GeoDecl data in the same ObjGeo. (2) ObjGeo They mean: - mesh count: 2 - object name: WGT_body - offset to mesh headers: 544, 1360 (3) GeoDecl They mean: - GeoDecl data count: 2 - offset to GeoDecl datas: 64, 240 - face indice count: 33894 (= face count x 3) - vertex count: 6533 - vertex data size: 80 (in bytes) - vertex data elements count: 11 - vertex data element formats: 8 byte data per element (11 values) The vertex data element format (8 byte) is defined as follows: - (16bit int) zero: always zero - (16bit int) offset: element data offset in single vertex data - (16bit int) data type: 2-3 = 32bit float, 5 = 8bit int, 10-11: 16bit half float - (8bit int) data purpose: 0 = position, 1 = weights, 2 = local bone IDs, 3 = normal vector, 5 = UV, 6 = tangent vector - (8bit int) data index: data index if there are multiple elements with the same purpose An exception: When purpose=UV and type=11, there are two UV elements datas instead of one. (4) Mesh header They mean: - GeoDecl data ID: 0 (it means this mesh uses GeoDecl data #0) - face indice count to skip: 0 (important when to determine offset later) - face indice count in mesh: 33894 - vertex count to skip: 0 (important when to determine offset later) - vertex count in mesh: 6533 (5) LHeader/VtxLay/IdxLay The actual vertex and face datas are written in TMCL file, while the data offsets are defined in TMC file's LHeader/VtxLay/IdxLay. They mean: - offset to texture/vertex/face data: 128, 5876480, 7027072 - sizes of texture/vertex/face data: 5876352, 1150512, 122992 They mean: - offset to vertex data: 16, 522656, 568864, 1146624 (for GeoDecl data #0 to #3) - sizes of vertex data: 522640, 46208, 577760, 3888 - offset to face data: 16, 67808, 70816, 122608 (for GeoDecl data #0 to #3) - sizes of face data: 67792, 3008, 51792, 384 Now you can read/update datas in TMCL. The data offset of Nth vertex (N = 0, 1, ...) is: (LHeader's offset to vertex data) + (VtxLay's offset to vertex data) + (vertex data size) x (vertex count to skip) + (vertex data size) x N The data offset of Nth face (N = 0, 1, ...) is: (LHeader's offset to face data) + (IdxLay's offset to face data) + 2 x (face indice count to skip) + 6 x N Edited May 31, 2022 by violetta3ds 3

It would be much better and way easier to just create and release some nude mods for the PS4 version, it is superior to all other versions because of the VR support, no other version has it.

Sorry for the super late reply, you basically need a PS4 on 5.05/6.72 or 9.00 firmware, you mod it then install the pkg file linked in the first post via Debug Settings -> Game -> Install Package Files, the mod itself is actually the Xtreme Sexy 'F' so it will repleace it if you have the original one.

That sucks, 9.00 is the latest publicly jailbroken firmware, no way around it unless you find an exploit yourself. Yeah, the Helena PoC mod works with VR normally, I'm sure any other texture mod would too.

Even just a simple PC texture conversion could work, considering most of the reversing work has already been done by violetta3ds right on this thread, there was even someone that was able to mod the game but they deleted their post, It's really annoying that no one wants to share.

VR is indeed great, that is why the PS4 version is leagues above the PC gacha-crammed version. It would be more likely that people get interested in modding the game if you share your mods outright and then generate discussion around the subject you are interested in, it worked for me.

If people are scared of Tecmo, I'm sure as long as you are not selling the mods it's all ok, considering they don't care about the mod that I literally uploaded right on this thread and the hundred others available for DOAXVV it makes sense.

Although it cannot be denied that the console version looks even more beautiful than DOAXVV, even DOA6 does.

Yes, DOAXVV uses simplified shaders and lightings to support low-end PCs even with the highest settings. Reshade can't resolve this problem.
