Weird vortex-like graphical anomaly on characters, video inside. [Solved, Thank you people]

Hi,

 

So I have this weird vortex-like graphical anomaly on a couple of my companions, out of 20+. It recurs in certain intervals, more or less, always on the same characters though.

I haven't found anything like it anywhere, I'm sure someone has had it or knows what causes it.

All my 200+ mods seem to work fine.

That effect seems to be shared with those who have certain magical abilities. I see it on two or three "Faerie Elves" from the same named mod, and occasionally on an enemy caster or dremora.

One of the mods you use uses a cloak or similar magic effect for something. Said magic effect doesn't has the proper flags to avoid being absorbed. A more direct solution would be using a fix like powerofthree's Tweaks which has a settings specifically for this

;Adds NoAbsorb flag to all non-hostile and non-detrimental spells

No Hostile Spell Absorb = true

 

You could also manually fix this if you ever identify which mod is applying that effect. I think there are also an xEdit and Synthesis patcher to do this. But po3 tweaks is a simple skse plugin that you install as any other mod, configure its ini file and it's all done.
