Missing Texture for Pre-War Casualwear Damaged

Recommended Posts

The texture for the Pre-War Casualwear Damaged (it is equipped on the Gommorah receptionist for some reason) is missing in my game and it is incredibly irritating. I have reinstalled every mod that I think it might have come from, as well as a few others. Have also disabled/re-enabled Archive Invalidation. Can anyone tell me what mod this texture is from and why it has been equipped to a NPC and yet is not installed?

I am assuming its from a sexout mod (though I have reinstalled Project Nevada and other mods that include armour) but I am not 100% sure on that. Disablying st.esp and sexout results in the receptionist being naked with nothing in her inventory.

I am missing the entire texture. Only head and hands are showing. I have redownloaded SCR today from the downloads section, as well as all of the files from the Sexout Clothing System. I have reinstalled the Pregnancy mods (dont even want them, only installed them in case they had the textures I needed). Currently downloading maternity clothes to see if that fixes it (not sure if I had that installed already). I will report back if this solves it.

Just to make sure, is it the textures you're missing or the mesh? But either way, this will probably be fixed by installing all the required resources.

Assuming texture though I might be wrong. The NPC is just invisible. Is that the mesh or the texture? I cant remember which one results in the big red square with the white ! and which one just makes them invisible.

Edit: It was the fkn maternity clothes pack.

Thanks for the help.

Having fixed that issue, now I cannot undo the change to the Business Wear. I had fixed it to a type3 replacement with short skirt which originally missed the shirt. I however got the optional file to restore the shirt and tie. Now, no matter what I do, the skirt is longer and the shirt is missing. Have reinstalled armour mods (again) except for the maternity clothes pack to no avail.

The maternity clothes pack only affects the pregnant versions of any armor or clothing, excluding the ones that have damaged armor swapping enabled. Either you misplaced the meshes or the outfit you see ingame is not the vanilla one.

It isnt, its a BB Type 3 Replacer pack. Without the optional file to replace the shirt it looks like it does in my game. But I have reinstalled the optional file (as well as the original file) multiple times so I have no idea how it hasnt changed back. I dont know how this isnt working, as I am reinstalled it from the 7zip file that I used originally, I've run out of ideas as to how to fix it.

Frankly, I am sick of dealing with random FNV issues. Every one I fix seems to break something else.

Thanks for the help before anyway.

Floating heads and hands are missing meshes. Giant read triangles with exclamation points are missing textures.

In the last case you mention the file used (texture) has been over wrote by one of the files that you installed. It is important to pay attention to the "order" of the installation as much as it is to actually install the required textures. Any replacer textures, meshes will over write what is there.

When I started I used #s in front of the order of installation. This aided me to be sure that I didn't over write files that I wanted in the final game. Later I started to customize the files by dropping files into them to get the desired results, still keeping order. Now I have created BSA's for SCR, Preg etc. of the files that are required. It took time but now I have everything working as it should and am only missing "summer rags" if memory serves me correctly. :D

Actually, it's the other way around. Missing textures are floating heads and exclamation points are missing meshes. :P

Did you make sure Clothing swapping in SCR MCM is turned off?

Ok I now stand corrected....

Well, if the armor exists, but no nif is assigned, I assume that is what would happen. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a different reason though. Nifs are evil. :D
