Sexlab animations not using correct genders

I just downloaded new animation mods and disabled some old ones I was using, but after installing them something went wrong.

So I'm playing a female character, and everytime I have sex with males, the game gives my character a strap-on and fucks the male characters instead. Sexlab MCM options still has match genders option on so idk why it's doing that.

This happens to every animations, from the old one I used[which worked properly until now] up to the new animations I recently installed.

I've read what you said so don't think I didn't pay attention.

You need to know the basics of how SexLab works to understand what is happening. SexLab does not have gender specific animations. SexLab places "characters" according to the instructions given by the mod author. I like to use my own mod, Some Consensual Sex, as an example. The original mod placed the player in the traditional "male" position for animations. That is what I chose largely because there were not a lot of other mods that did it. After a while I received a lot of requests for making it so that the player was in the female position. So, I made a second mod (largely identical to the first) that simply placed the player in the "female" position in the command calling SexLab. Two virtually identical mods with two different outcomes with SexLab being unchanged.

I don't know how your game "worked" before, but neither SexLab nor the animations make any real difference. It is the mod author (of the mod calling SexLab) who determines the positions. BTW you can swap positions, once an animation has started, by hitting the "+/=" key.

For some reason the swap actors doesn't work 80% of the time, I press it and my character get swapped, but the NPC actor is stucked at either humping the air or just standing still. Swapping again or Realigning the actors doesn't work.

Is there a way for me to modify the animation so it will use the actors on correct positions?

As I said, the problem is not the animation or SexLab. The problem (such as it is) comes from the mod(s) you are using to call SexLab and the animations. So, unless you want to write your own mod (like I did) the answer is no.

One thing I can contribute... Make sure that your character has the right gender set.  Some SL related mod (possibly Eager NPCs, or another mod, or the game itself, idk) sets the game to use one of three options. Unassigned (default), Female, and Male. If you don't fix your gender (for instance, using SL Eager NPCs), animations have a far more "fluid" assignment. I used to run into weird swapped roles quite often until I set my male to MALE  and females to Female, in Eager NPCs.  Now, although some scenes still get weird and I have to use the change position hotkey to fix, the vast majority now work "as intended"
