Excellent mod and one of my SSE/SL backbone mods along with Sassy teens.

BUT! Unless I have missed an update the child at the Braidwood inn was missed.

Those who whinge about the voices must never have worked with teenagers as while Sassy teens grabs the 15-18 zone well.

this mod fits with 14-17 vocally although they all look 18.

 

Last point ...a naked Sofie in snowy Windhelm??? Give her some clothes FGS!

Okay a real problem at last and one that has totally defeated me;

 

Both Minette and Svari lived in Honeyside as followers UNTIL I did the initial bard's college quest. Now they disappear every week( I used prid etc move to player) and now, at last, I know why: they are an essential(???) part of the weekly effigy burning in Solitude and if you find them there they, as I ddi at long last, are no longer followers and have the effigy burning lines only. I tried to remove the relevant factions from them within the mod but it makes NO difference as their presence is hard coded in Skyrim esm for the weekly burn and I am totally incapable of making a mod for that. 

 

Any chance of a patch that fixes this?

You know what would be ideal is a patch for this and the Kids Are Alright mod which makes all the kids combat capable followers which is awesome for the odd family dungeon crawl.

 

That mod also adds new adoptable kids around the world in cities and in bandit camps and dungeons. If there was a patch that would replace all of them with teens as well that would just be the icing on the cake. Unfortunately that mod is no longer available because some Karen complained about it so I doubt a patch for it is even possible.

 

I'm glad I got it while it was available.

I want to express my thanks for this mod. Children in Skyrim was never a good match with my modded Skyrim. This mod fixed that. So now they can stay home watch preston playzs instead.

 

I wonder if you ever thought of replacing the voices too? I've done some testing on my end and replaced all the 588 audiofiles for all female children in Skyrim with a lower pitched voice. It's still the same voice se, but it sounds more mature (at least I think so). I've yet to reduce the output dB for it since it's just a bit too loud. And maybe also try to have the voice sound just a bit warmer.

 

Anyway if you're interested I can send you the folders with all the files and you can include them in your mod (after I've fondled with them a bit more). I guess I should try to modify the malechild voices too. Here's three example files of how it sounds after I've depitched them ?

This mod is the only way I've found to stop having children walk around without breaking quests. Really appreciate it. The child voices still sound weird, though.

I have them still on my pc. It was a mod here, but I took it down because there was so many missing dialogues that I couldn't find in CK.

I found a few more voice dialogues in USEEP.esp. So I'm gonna update this when I find some time. It's basically Dagny, Nelkir and Frotnar in Whiterun Dragonsreach that uses these dialogues.

 

EDIT: Ok, so I've reuploaded with the new voice files covered in USEEP.

While this mod is great (you can install it partway through a playthrough to simulate the kids aging), it could use a compatibility patch for the added child npcs in The Kids are Alright.

This is what I use it for too, great fun. I have an issue with Svari though and wondered if you'd had same. No seduction options, immune to seduction spell and the lovers forever spell only brings up the 'kiss her' option. Whether or not you've experienced this any idea on fix would sure be appreciated.

Oh been a long time since I used the mod or played the game in earnest..

If I remember correctly I changed all their voices (quests be damned) to adult once with SSEdit later because hearing children voices was off putting to say it mildly. So it probably was that?

And the mod I was using back then to get Ll scenes runing was eager npc, dunno if that might help

1) I personally don't know how to do it but, it's totally possible.

 

2) Yes, they can. 

 

3) Pretty much the same body type, depending on what you use.

 

I had this mod in my game for the longest time and the only thing that's weird are their voices. I left that alone since changing their voice could break something in my own playthrough. It was buggy when the last time I tried to edit their voices to adult voices myself. but I've seen it a long time ago, and know its possible too though. I could be wrong..

I have no complaint, i only wish there were patches for this, if anyone was capable of making. Environs mods come to mind, LotD to a degree, TGVo Mixwater Mill, to name a few.
