Skyrim Teens 2.0 is a child remover mod that completely replaces all Children with Teen\Adults.

Characters are full height and retain their childish voices, which gives the impression of Teens.

Main file requires KS Hair full.

2 Patches available , Cutting Room Floor and Helgen Reborn, Both require Apachi Hair Full. Both patches kindly provided by a Loverslab member.

 

FULLY TESTED, NO ISSUES, one hopes!

Every time there is an issue.

I'm not a modder, it's just for fun.

I took it down last time and tried adult voices, it was game breaking.

Strangely, I just added this to a fresh build but still have children rather than teens, but with the brown face bug.  No other children mods, no Cutting Room Floor, No Helgen Reborn.

 

Any ideas?  - Hold on testing something. I have a full SMP working install. So I was using KS Hairdos SMP.  I did not intsall the KS Hairdos because they would be redundant to me.  Adding that now to see if it's the issue.

Getting a CTD now with the KS Hairdos. Which is so strange as it's not a mod I have ever had issues with before....

 

OK, any suggestions appreciated. I am going to go remove the SMP Hair and see if it helps. And the start tweeking to figure it out.

The description says that the kids keep their childlike voice. It's the original vanilla voices they keep!

I don't understand you: Take a look at the 3rd picture presented - Mila Valentina with her mother Carlotta in the background. Both the same size.

How should Mila's child's voice sound in a (young) adult body? Possibly funny - but that's in the player's (you) point of view.

When you consider that young adults can also have their voices breaking, the picture is completely different.

The bottom line is that they don't have vanilla faces anymore! Also please see what Vinny1973 said to Gukahn on 04/02/2022. He tried adult voices but it was game-breaking. Download this mod, install and try it ingame takes 10 minutes then you have your answer. You don't have to create a save - unless you like it. If you are looking for a size and language compatible kids mod, you should install TKAA by Nexus-Mods. Vinny also said he was making this mod just for fun! Fun also means that something can be funny ?

The only other mod related to children is Rustic Children and USSEP, I made this mod load after USSEP and it didn't fix it

I think you're on the right track - RUSTIC CHILDREN, I thought there was only Rustic Clothing but it includes both. The mod author has put a lot of effort and the clothes look particularly well done. The faces look friendlier, but rather closer to the vanilla appearance.

"The mod author: Since the boys and girls share the same (male) textures, I've endeavored to make them as attractive as they are practical using the default meshes. Therefore, the boys may appear "prettier" than some prefer. It was a compromise I was willing to make for better looking girls."

This mod changes face and body textures - this could be a reason for the dark faces. Really only with Dagny - there are at least 44 characters, 20 female and 24 male - all checked?

If you only have Skyrim Teens 2.0 and RUSTIC CHILDREN installed, the easiest way is to disable Rustic Children and load a save b e f o r e disabling!

Skyrim Teens will use your installed default CBBE or UNP bodies and bring conforming clothing, not children's clothing.

I use an SE variant, maybe there are also differences in LE and AE. Mods may not exist in LE and may not yet be available in AE.

This mod is supposed to work for LE/SE/AE - I can only confirm this for SE.

With the few details about your problems, it would have been helpful if you had mentioned a little more.

Now I assume that you have an LE variant because there are definitely no RUSTIC CHILDREN in SE. Please look again at the 1st sticky from Gamwich in the posts: "MY TEXTURES ARE ONLY FOR THE ORIGINAL BETHESDA MESHES. They are not designed to be compatible with other child overhauls like RS Children, TK Children or Skyrim Child Overhaul (for example)."

I could have suggested the face discoloration fix on the other page you linked, but unfortunately it doesn't exist in LE. What this fix couldn't fix are incorrect plugin loading sequences (Loot only gives a recommendation) and sometimes you have to change something manually. Or incorrect prioritization of the mods on the left side of the organizer.

You don't have to install or keep this mod either!

Unfortunately I can't give you any more food for thought.

If you have multiple kid mods installed, the mod you want to win must be placed below the other kid mods in the plugin load order.

This also applies to the order of priority of the mods on the left side of the organizer. Normally the problem with sorting the mods correctly should not occur.

I fail to see the point of this, they look a little too perfect for teens... And for some reason here Sofie keeps her child outfit despite this mod being loaded last, which makes her to appear naked. I've checked in sseedit, she is supposed to have a beggar outfit (she's the one close to the windhelm gate leading to the harbour). If you use this mod on an existing game, it's a good idea to use "recycleactor" on them to reset their factions since it makes quite a lot of changes here, and then probably resetinventory, but doesn't work on Sofie, she stubbornly keeps her skaal child clothes which can't appear on such a body.

Anyway as it is now, they look like young adults with some child voices, which makes it sound like there is a bug...

Anyway good looks, maybe even too good...

I guess teens in the skyrim world would be very different from our teens, a lot less freedom... probably pushed directly from children to adults without transition !

 

It might be related to her package with her basket of flowers, maybe the package doesn't touch only the basket but the whole inventory...

I tried two variants: Installed in the running game and started a new game with Alternative Start. No major issues other than a couple of fixable neck seams in existing game.

It's strange that the flower girl Sofie from Windhelm has "Skaal children's clothes" in her inventory and of course she can't wear them! The only one who should wear Skaal clothes is Aeta, a female character from a Skaal village (DLC Dragonborne).

If you would recruit (or adopt) Sofie as a follower, you can give her any clothes you like. (Or with a simple clothing manager)

Well the install is quite straightforward the only thing to mention is that I have the ks hairdos.esp for females only, so it's a problem for the boys, but it was just to test.

Yeah I don't know why she gained skaal clothes, quite odd, but since this mod is the very last mod loaded, nothing can overwrite it... !

Did you installed any nude items? Or choice never nude when you do the clothes from body slide?

Will these work with furry kids to teens?

Is there any way to get this to work with Fertility mode? I'm wanting my characters sons and daughters to be able to go on adventures or wander the game. Figured this mod was a really good option as it makes it so I can give my characters offspring functions like followers since theyre now teens.

They are beautifully made and perfect look to be teenagers, only thing that broke the immersion was the sound Sassy teen mod have a really great teen sounding characters, if that is an option that would be great

2.0 fixed the problem if I load RS Children after it for the faces.  No more CTD and it all seems good.  Brownface also fixed when I loaded the RS children after teens.

After playing a while with this mod i have to say.. Didn't thought it would be much impact on my play through but combining it with amorous adventures and doing mother and daughter more often it makes for a really fun part time. That and i can finally educate braith ?

(and my pc has to learn necromanty to bring helgi back.. )

 

(Now every living and undead thing in my game is legal..  ? .)
