Guards' voices now deeper/lower all of a sudden

Anyone know, off chance, what could cause all guard voice pitch to lower? Any particular mod? And if I start digging into the esp's, what would I be looking for?

If it was sudden, I'd scrutinize any mods you very recently installed. best I can answer.  (that is, I don't know of any "generic" skyrim process that raises or lowers vocal pitch/tone, aside from voice-file replacement or overwrite)

If you have powerofthree's Tweaks there is a setting for this (skse\plugins\po3_tweaks.ini):

;Applies voice distortion effect on NPCs wearing face covering helmets. A value of 1.0 has no effect.

;Pitch is directly proportional to value. Recommended setting (0.85-0.90).

Voice Modulation = 0.900000

Set to 1 to disable it (which I'm pretty sure it's the default value...).

I vaguely recall running through all the options when I first installed it and I imagine I simply set most every option to the recommended setting. And totally forgot.
