hello i apologize for my english.
i downloaded the latest version and i have a problem. if I create new sims they do nothing if I do not command them, even if it is active from the options total freedom. I did various tests and the problem only does it with the mrrakkon's World Redux save file. some idea?

Oh! Go into your options and turn on autonomy. I have it turned off when setting up the save and just assumed people would turn it back on at their own volition.

Fixed it. I had to delete the entire drive. I got a back up so the current folder is the main download, the update folder, and whatever was in the dev folder.

I lost the save file though, but good news is that you'll be getting a 2.2 and 1/2. 

I need to tidy that up a bit and then I'll upload it.

 

Okay so some files are missing. Gonna need to find them. Sorry for the technical issues people. I'm giving 100% of my attention to fixing things and getting you a working file!

I'm uploading the new CC folder. It's going to be in archive format now.

 

The save will now be hosted here on the website.

 

No ETA on when the links will be made available. I'm gonna focus on making the save playable.

Am i missing something here? I can't find the download link. The "download now" link at the top of the page is just a text file telling me to go to Google Drive bu there is no link. There is a link further down the page but its dead. 

Some help please!

For 100% transparency. The google drive kinda went insane. It maxed out its storage limit, which didn't make sense, and so I thought about just redoing the folder and it turned out that my backup folder was missing 90% of the CC I thought it had and mrrakkon reasonably has only been keeping a folder of the CC he specifically sends me.

So I kinda fucked up as the other CC was my responsibility.

I keep going into the save and finding a ton of naked sims. Luckily I know where to locate all the missing CC. I've just had to repackage things like 20 times and right now it's just playing the waiting game as the primary folder uploads and me continuing to add missing CC to the "update" folder.

We're going to go with an archive as having open folders is partly why some packages and script files were duplicating and bugging out but this method leads to and HOUR PLUS upload time to the google drive.

It's gonna be a headache because I'm an impatient mandchild who wants instant gratification but uploading an archive every update will HOPEFULLY fix the issues I've seen. This won't affect you guys as all you gotta do is download the new update archive and merge it with your previous files.

So yeah I just gotta make sure the CC is there then upload the second archive. Annoying but nothing is outright broken.

I wanted to make my own version of Mrrakkon's world before I find out you were doing this project.

Here's how I was about to do it:

 

- Download all new mrrakkon's Sims (and stuff)

- Extract all the CC of the sims on my computer and use a software to delete all the duplicate files

- Transfer all the CC to the mods folder

- Transfer all the tray to the tray folder

- Load a world that has 0 sims in it

- Manually move all the downloaded sims to the empty world

- Save then share the save file.

 

I'm not saying it's a better way, and you should just stick with what you already started, but it could be an alternative for people reading this thread.

trying to figure out how to get this working right. i've generally avoided messing with mods that use the xml injector simp;y because it just gives me error's and fails to load and new or old game. and yes it's likely a trait or an object or script it is likely failing to load but i have folly gone over 5k+ mods in my folder and all are up to date and working fine so no idea why xml injector is not wanting to work for me. so due to that i tend to avoid mods that use it like they're the plague. if anyone has any clue as to wtf i going on i'd appreciate it because i've been digging and wracking my brain for it for months now. and yes i even did the systematic testing for each mod (or mod group) and still lead error's.

i know usually it is supposed to be script related. so not sure if something is acting weird but i think this is the 4th time i've tried to get xml injector to work.

It could also be a mod conflict. As you've mentioned you got a lot of mods going on. The only ones I have are the ones on the front page of this thread.

i do have a lot of mods. now i have tried some of the mods that said it was a hard requirement to run them....and i DID NOT HAVE XML injector installed....and they worked fine without it....no clue

checking the last exception file in documents when it last loaded it shows an error in loading the sexyreward trait from superbeast. so not sure if it's conflicting with somehting in game there or if the trait itself is odd but i've tried taking out each mod i have interchangeably to see which is which and it still throws the error. then again the same trait could be in each mod as a base. hmmm

The traits uploaded to the drive have been an issue in the past. Like .package files were turned into .zip files with several duplicates.

Hopefully the new packaging method will fix things.

Just out of curiousity; what software do you use to find duplicates?

I've been using WinMerge to manually go through each folder(s) and it's hella tedious.

I only recently realized MCCC shows each duplicate when it makes an error log, but having to wait for that to show up is rather annoying too because I don't know if there's a way to force MCCC to write one.

I'm on Mac and I have the paid version of Gemini. It works very well and you can even automate it to keep either the first or the last added file between the duplicates, or to keep only the file that is in a specific folder. I don't know if they have a Windows version.

If you get a mod called Better Exceptions, you can force a fake exception whenever you want through its menu and its full exception report will list all duplicates.  That said, if you have a lot of mods, it will take a few minutes for the full exception report to be generated.
