I need help with some mods conflicting

Hello, i'm trying to fix my mods conflicting but i'm having trouble with them loading in order like when I switch one mod to run before a different mod it doesn't work or when I switch one mod to run after a different mod it doesn't work. I'm using Vortex and i'm a little confused on what to do. All i'm trying to do is figure out how to get the inflation working with the Fill Her Up and to possibly make her belly bouncy when inflated while using different mods. Should I try fixing the load order or disable a few mods or remove a few mods to possibly fix the problem?

Here's a video to make it easier to understand what's going on:

First thanks for the first real inside I got into Vortex, fancy graphs ^^

There are a few things you can do:

  • Understand why you installed a mod and why some of them need to be overwritten
  • The difference between CBBE and UNP => you are using CBBE/UNP skins at the same time
  • How to extract Modlist or LO from Vortex (not even sure if that's possible tho)
  • even more CBBE/UNP mods installed. I think the lower mod in Vortex overwrites the higher one. Means if you install CBBE but overwrite it with UNP, only UNP will win... if your lucky.
  • decide on one body and stay with it.
  • You installed Fillherup UUNP but you didn't even decide on either CBBE or UNP

Doesn't Vortex allow you to set rules for load order for individual mods?

I've never used Vortex myself (still happy with MO2 but that's besides the point) but I think I remember from one of Gopher's videos on youtube that you could set rules and conditions.  He had a tutorial series on getting started with Vortex that you might want to check out.

My quick impression: You want the CBBE body but mess it up with UNP body/skins and UUNP mods: remove all UNP/UUNP mods.

I went ahead and uninstalled the UNP/UUNP mods like you said and I even went ahead and disabled some of the CBEE body mods since I do not know what they do yet. Anyway by doing it resolved some of the file conflict but now i'm getting 3 errors saying " Deployment interrupted. deployment is not possible when you have cyclical mod rules. Rules contain cycles " What does this mean? All I want is to get the inflation working :'( why is everything so complicated, lol?

Can't you just remove all rules and start over? Isn't it enough to sort the mods in Modlist to get correct overwrites?

If you go on like that you will create a black hole loop ?

I can only guess:

Mod A gets overwritten by Mod B, but you also set a rule for mod B to be overwritten by mod A.

Would make me crazy too ^^

Overwrite:

You have two mods which include files with the same name but different content.

Now you have to decide what files should be overwritten to be expressed ingame.

For example:

Mod A

Mod A patch => needs to overwrite the files of mod A that it wants to patch

Mod CBBE => wants to install CBBE body ingame

Mod UNP => wants to install UNP ingame, to do that it will have to overwrite the same files CBBE would need to be expressed ingame => thus if UNP overwrites CBBE there will be only UNP ingame, other way around is true too

Mod CBBE body (meshes)

Mod CBBE skin (textures)

Mod UNP skin (textures) => if UNP skin overwrites the identical named files of the CBBE skin you get UNP skin ingame. Which is bad if you use a CBBE body because the UNP skin won't fit

=> means you are done after installing CBBE skin for CBBE body

Mod CBBE skin I

Mod CBBE skin II => two mods that add CBBE skin to a CBBE body, only one can win so if skin I gets overwritten by skin II you only see skin II ingame

=> this makes skin I redundant, in cases like this activate (install) only one of those mods

Bodies contain of:

Skeleton

Body type

Skin

Some kind of physic settings (HDT, SMP)

and various addons

you want to install a CBBE variation that also allows for belly physics

(don't ask me, I'm lucky I got UUNP working lol)

Do we get more videos later? ?

Yeah if I have a problem again i'll do a video to help my problem, currently deleting all mods including nexus while I uninstall and reinstall Skyrim since I accidentally messed up stuff in body slider, ooof.

Next time i'm going to read more guides and follow tutorials before I mod Skyrim again because I clearly had no idea what I was doing, lol.
