Erinaea Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Hi guys, In advance, I'd like to say sorry if this is the umpteenth post on this subject. I'm having trouble getting Sexout to recognize that I have installed NVSE v11. I installed Sexout fine, it shows in the Mod Configuration Menu and everything..and the hotkeys work..but I keep recieving an error that states, "Sexout requires NVSE v11 and you have V0." I have downloaded v11 and v3.2. I checked once I downloaded 3.2 via the console and it stated that NVSE v3.2 was indeed working. Would someone kindly help me or link me to a troubleshooting guide. I would greatly appreciate it.
RitualClarity Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Many times people have installed the Extender 11 in the wrong place. Often times in the Main folder How do I install it?Install NVSE (v3b2 or newer) as normal, simply extract all the files to your fallout new vegas directory.Install the extender by extracting the contents to the data/nvse/plugins directory.

Yep, I paid particular attention to that because I didn't want to feel like a moron. I extracted the files into the plugins of NVSE. The folder for v11 is there, I checked.
RitualClarity Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I am unaware of any other solution then. If you put it in the folder it should be working. This is odd indeed. Sorry I couldn't help.

No worries! Thank you for trying I thought it was really odd too...seeing as everything seems to work, aside from the rape thing..which I am annoyed about simply because I get annoyed when things don't work as they are supposed to. I tested the vibrator thing and it worked..so I am as confused as you are.
Halstrom Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Make sure you have the exact NVSE version number required, not the latest.
RitualClarity Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 You using FOMM to install Sexout mods? If so maybe redownload the file again to see if it was just a bad download. Also just to be sure check this out and make sure that all the steps have been followed.
astymma Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 When installing the extender, make sure the extender dll(s) are located in: PATH_TO_GAME/Data/NVSE/Plugins/nv_extender.dll PATH_TO_GAME/Data/NVSE/Plugins/nv_extender_ng.dll ...and all NVSE files are in the same folder as FalloutNV.exe which is in the folder above the Data folder. The most common mistakes tend to be the files being inside additional folders, installing everything to a Data folder within your Data folder, naming the Plugins folder as Plugin, using NVSE 2b12 instead of the correct version of 3b2.
jaam Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Also, if you are sure you did everything right, upload nvse.log and nvse_extender.log from your game directory (the one containing falloutNV.exe)

I can't even get Sexout to show up in the MCM any longer. I am using the correct version of the NVSE, it says, "Version 3_2 beta" or something along those lines. This is so very confusing for someone inexperienced with this kind of thing. I checked to make sure that the paths were correct, and they were..uninstalled all the Sexout related mods and tried reinstalling them..but ran into an issue... Nexus Mod Manager crashed every time I tried to import the "Sexout core" .fom file. Could that be the problem? Also, another user posted a checklist..but I'm not sure where the "packages" part of the NMM is :/ Thank you very much for taking the time to reply , regardless.

Oh dear, I feel like an imbecile now. Thank you very much for pointing me to this. I thought the NMM was the FOMM. *smacks myself*
