Lewd Ideology Origin

You should only use one of the files.
This mod is mostly cosmetic and unless something fundamentally changes about how ideologions work, it should never cause any errors.


My first attempt at a mod and mainly created for my own playthrough:

This mod adds a lewd ideology origin with a custom style and sexy ritual effect.

 

I highly recommend these mods for some more Ideology stuff:

 

c0ffee's Sexperience, Sexperience Ideology, Ideology Addons, RJW events

 

This mod was made to be used with those, but they are not strictly required.

 

For 2.0, I changed the sculptures to something that better fits the visual style of this mod and Rimworld in general.

I will update this mod for upcoming versions, if there ever is a 1.6. But I view it as complete and don't intend to add anything new to it.

Love the direction. If you're interested in continuing work on the mod, might add a couple themed pieces of clothing. No need to go crazy, a t-shirt that's just fishnet, or pants that have a heart-shaped hole in the crotch would be plenty. But if we're going to make sex a religion, then we can go all-in.

Great mod, but these sculptures make me cringe. I am not good at modifying other people's mods but I assume I can change textures somewhere in files?

If you look through the massive list of Vanilla Expanded mods there is one in there that creates a "Hedonism" option for your ideology.  Choosing unlocks the Orgy Ritual.  Pretty much all I needed, but YMMV.

You can use gimp or similar and modify the image files. It's a bit tedious.

What's the 'Deities Enabled' one?

Causes a black screen bug after a some time of play

the estro-bong, it adds or alters lighting effects and rimworld REALLY does not like that.

Thus the game after a time will go dark gray, the UI will remain and the only way to see anything, is to pause the game, attemtping to set it to speed 1 or 2 makes everything turn darkgray/black and only the Names of pawns and the UI itself can be seen, the game thus freezes like that and cant continue.

It is also possible that the humpshroom which emits a red glow is also the culprit, i do not know which it is as i always have both for reasons.

Would love to use this mod but i just lost 6 hours of my life and two really well made colonys :X

Everywhere i went on the internet they said the same thing, it has to do with adding lighting effects or altering them ingame, and i have no other mods that alters this, and the issue only occurs when i have this mod installed.

Hey all, sorry, I know I'm months late with this reply, but I never realized this thread existed as this has been my first time uploading to loverslab.

To anyone suggesting gameplay changes, precepts, or in-built synergy with c0ffee's mods, I'm not able to do any of these, sadly. This mod is purely cosmetical.

 

However, I am currently working on an update which will:

• Change the sculptures to something that is more fitting to RimWorld and less plagiarised
• Add and improve some building style textures
• Expand the text prompts
• Maybe add clothing and weapon style textures (not quite sure yet)

So I actually had ideas for this sort of thing, precepts for bodily worship and such. I haven't fully made anything with it yet, but looking at existing mods for Rimworld, I'm guessing it isn't hard. If you are willing to do some of the artsy stuff, I'd be willing to try and make precepts and such.

Hey Echorid, I'm currently working on the above mentioned 2.0 update.

It should be finished soon and will also update the mod to RimWorld 1.4
