I am not good at this stuff but tried to make a texture mod.  It did not really turn out great and some of the stuff is weird but I made a wet tshirt mod for the casual clothes you start with for the female character and changed the shorts to be a light gray.  I do not really know what I am doing with the ao and nrm and all that but did what I could and gave her butt some more shape.  The original texture is kind of flat probably on purpose.  When I unlock the wrappings I will try to do what I can though I do not really expect it to come out great.  I hope someone will do better soon and that they will find a way to edit models soon.

 

I don't know how people attach files to posts.  I hope create content is ok.

Maybe.  There are no notifications but it is gone.  I now have an option to attach files.  Maybe my account was too new before.  I think that is the proper way to do this so I will use that.  If I don't get any warnings I'll reattach it properly here in just a bit.  I have also finished retexturing the fancy kimono which is the one with the chest wraps.  I think it turned out kind of ok.  I am processing the gfpack file right now so I'll put up both at once if there are no problems.

 

I'm learning as I go.  I have not done real texture mods before.  I just found out the rgn file changes material or specularity or something and after changing it the results are better so I'm redoing the gfpack for the fancy kimono.  This is the mod I wanted to do but had to unlock it first.

You've already made more progress in the Lewd department than I've seen most people try for Arceus modding. Well done.

I hope someone better at this stuff will make something better though.  It only works right at the right time of day in the town.  I do not know how to fix that.  There are different texture parts including a mtl rgn and something really weird called wml.  I don't really understand what those do except matching a skin section of the rgn helped.  wml is weird lines and noise and I don't know what it does.  Most of the time the skin tone is wrong.  I may do a partially transparent shirt instead so it looks less weird.

 

By the way anyone can do whatever they want with these files except charge money for them.  If someone can make better mods do whatever.

I really want topless or nude mods too.  Someone will have to figure out how to change meshes for that.  I don't even think there is a separate character mesh because the character legs and arms are in each costume file.  That also would mean they could make more outfits.  This game lists a lot but most are different colors of the same things.

 

I have not unlocked shorts bottoms yet.  When I do I plan to do the same for them as the casual outfit shorts if I can.

Would it be possible to have this done to the HD texture pack on GB as well or is that a lot of work? Currently, these mods don't work with that pack installed as it seems to overwrite it.

 

I'll try to figure out a way to adjust load order and maybe these ones can overwrite that instead. They'll just be a bit lower res than the rest.

I used the hd textures to make the mod.  It should only overwrite one texture file each and no others so there should be no conflict.  Load order is not possible with the overlay thing.

I decided to try to make the karate outfit have more shape since the texture is so flat.  I was not even planning to finish it or upload it but it turned out better than I thought it would and I decided to go ahead and do the full mod for it and share it.  It works best with the white or expert styles but other styles work some.

Hmm, strange then. If I used the HD mod, these don't work for me. Maybe there is a third conflict somewhere on my end. I'll keep messing around. Thanks!

Just don't overwrite these files with those files.  Extract the hd mod then extract these over it.  These should only overwrite one file each.

 

Oh Iput the files in atmosphere folders.  If you are using an emulator just extract the gfpak file into the same folder as the other mod files.

Update to the wet karate set mod.  I adjusted the ao and nrm a bit.  I am trying to fix the light part of the butt.  It still is not like it should be though.  I also tried to add a bit of cameltoe effect with the ao and nrm.  It may not make any difference but does not make anything worse.

I don't think so.  I think no one wants to do texture mods because they are just so bad and they are waiting for model editing so it can be done right.  I only did this because it is so easy.  Switch Toolbox can open the gfpack and arc files so I do not have to know what I am doing to change textures.  I am hoping people who are good at this stuff will see these and decide to do something good instead.

I had the HD mod installed too and it wasn't working for me but going into the HD mod's Player Textures folder and just replacing whatever the lewd mod files are it works. Using emulator so I hope thats what you're using too.

Yeah, thats what I wound up doing as well. I was hoping to keep them separate so I wouldn't have to keep swapping files in multiple places whenever one mod or the other updates, but thats fine. A small sacrifice haha.

If you are using a mod manager I do not know how to make a mod for the managers.  I will not be doing many updates though.  One more for the karate set when I get it right and I just unlocked the cropped shorts and festival kimonos so I will be working on them now.  After that I will probably not do any more.

I made a mod for the cropped shorts.  I had less trouble with the texture mapping so that turned out well but the transparency isn't right but I may stop on it here anyway.  It matches very well with the fancy kimono because it is so open on the front and the material matches some.

Are you open to ideas? If so, the bandit outfit has bandages similar to the fancy kimono so ditching them would probably be a similar process.
