Wicked whims duplicate install

It keeps saying it is when I know for a fact it is not.

Well, it wouldn't say that if that were true.

 

Perhaps the duplicate files are hidden in some other folder, where you put them accidentally.

Maybe the notification is caused by the archive, as some people put it in their mods folder as well and it can cause issues.

If you have MS OneDrive installed it will often put back old versions after deleting them.

Un-sync OneDrive from your Sims 4 folder or uninstall it.

 

Plus sometimes when you download custom sims they will include outdated parts of Mods.

They might even be hidden inside merged files too.

So then you need to remove all your mods/cc and test with Wicked + Animations only.

Then add back the removed mods/cc a few at a time until the problem returns to narrow it down further.

Don't forget to delete your localthumbcache.pkg after you remove mods for testing.

Don't make any new saves with Mods/cc removed just exit game when done testing.

No FOR A FACT it is not. It is THE ONLY mod in my mod folder.

and what happens, if you remove "THE ONLY" mod in your folder?

can you post a picture of your mods folder? and what is inside the WW folder? maybe turn on "show hidden files" in the folder options

Do you have any custom sims downloaded? If so, did you check in tray and any custom content folders?
