Hello!
I just wanted to ask what is the upper size/wight limit for images and gifs on the forum?
Im start a blog with a lot of gifs and i face the problem of recieving the Error code: -200... Im guessing its related to the size of my gifs... as its true that they can weight form 40 to 50mb.
I like my gifs to be with decent resolution and fps but well... i cant find any image host to post those few oversized files... so i atleast would like to know how much i need to resize my gifs.
Unless there is someone who know of a good image host and there is a way to post images from other websides on this forum...

Love yall and thank you for help in advance.

Use WebP format for your animated images. It compress way more than Gif.

If your page ahs already a hundred Mbs of attachments (does not matter if it is a single image or more) then you will start having errors.

Spoiler

Icon.webp

.Webp worked for me but .webp is not for .GIF's it's for reducing file sizes for image files like .JPG .PNG and so on there are free places on the internet that can compress .GIF's some do have a size limit though.

100% correct.

The correct file format is webm

Oooo, it works!
But now i only have one thing to ask. Is there a way to make them loop? Is there a way to set it up in the file or on the forum?

Im also thinking about exporting the long gifs that weight too much into webm, since they can be enjoyed anyway... and i believe that if u have the right browser u can loop them yourself (I'm using Opera GX and whne i right click on a webm video it allows me to loop).

On the other hand, the light/short gifs that i managed to get around 10mb I will post as normal gifs.

Anyway, thank all of you for help!
