It looks like Cumshine actually has a feature that can cause red eyes.
I enabled the option to disable red eyes, and that fixed the issue.

Where did you found the option to disable the red eyes? Looked on all menus and cant find it

does anyone else also have the issue that I see cum layers in CAS, but only if I go to the tattoo or body hair section?

I sometimes also see it when removing makeup.

 

I'm not sure if this is really a bug or some conflicting mods though

I made a sim and gave her the cum addict trait. At first the moodlets behaved as expected. Desire for "something". But later it changed into the normal "needs cum" moodlet without ever tasting cum before. And then she got both moodlets at the same time. This should not happen.

Does this mod still work? When I ask for a cum in the wheel menu, my partner says yes, and a message appears: “Wow! Who am I to turn down an offer like this? Where would you like to do this?” in the right corner. After that, nothing happens. Am I missing something obvious?

Basically, when they say that it means for a couple hours that sim will accept WW sex regardless of relationship. maybe, I'll make a tooltip because a few folks have asked about that issue.

that's very odd. I haven't been able to make it happen for me. 

Does it happen every time or just under specific conditions?

I haven't been able to pinpoint it yet. The sim from the snapshot was one I downloaded from the gallery. I wanted to change her in CAS, went to tattoos and suddenly she had the cum layers. When I go back to clothing or hair, it disappears. But she also wears facepaint and when I remove that, the layers appear again.

One other time I saw it in a save file I downloaded and it was visible even in live mode. If I remember correctly she was a fairy and also wore facepaint. When I removed the facepaint, the cum layers were gone.

I also tried redownloading your mod (and clearing my cache etc. - you know the deal) but it kept happening.

I'll check again with your free update and get back to you if I see a certain pattern.

 

edit: seems to be the face paint. as soon as I remove it, the layers appear. I tried it in a new save and in an existing one. also tried without any other mods than WW. it also happens when I create a new sim (without face paint), then add face paint and remove it again. it doesn't matter which face paint I'm using.

Oh that's super funky. In some ways it makes sense because cum in WW is technically a facepaint CC. I can try messing with that and with fairies to see if I can recreate it. I'm curious if it happens with just WW and no cumshine.

Tried it with just WW and no cumshine, no cumlayers visible. 

And it's not only limited to fairies, happens to all occults & humans.

Is the mod broken for anyone who updated June 30th? I sorted my entire mods folder, and this is the only one which reset my sims after I give them an action, even go here resets them.

I recently updated it to work with the newer versions of Noirs Pornstar Cock V7. my suspicion is you'll want to update that mod.

That's the current one, but Noir pointed out that using the default pubic hair can cause texture issues. The sim in your picture has the default WW pubic hair (that's what causes that ugly sharp border at the bottom of the hair). Make sure you switch to Noir's public hair (called Jason something or other), and maybe that will resolve it for you.

I figure you're probably already aware, but the mod is causing issues after the last update a couple of days ago.

 

1 - As soon as I "Resume Game" I get a popup from Better Exceptions and also usually a notification from MCCC.

 

2 - My notification wall gets spammed with constant warnings about animation errors.

 

3 - Getting occasional freezes or frequent loss of queued actions

 

This was when starting a new game, and I haven't even left the lot yet.

So i just can't get cumshine to work - im using Sims 4 Version 1.121.361.1020 with WW v185k, Nisa LL_3_9, Cumshine Jun_28_2026 and Cum Layers. Neither does the cum get depicted, nor does the sweat overlay of WW show up as far as i know. If i use the swallow option, the moodlet works but other then that i only get the extra cum option, but nothing happens when i use it (no cum overlay, no moddlet etc). I read that sometimes cc skincolors/overlays fuck with the application, however i dont think it is that since its the same on vanilla sims. any idea what it could be, really loved this mod back when it worked for me!!

Stop right there, that's your problem. Update your game, and you'll see problems magically fix themselves.

Okay so i updated my game to 1.126.78.1020 but it still doesnt work. Neither does any cum application in WW. They also do not show up in CAS afaik. Any pointers where i could start for troubleshooting? Could it be a script mod error, skintones, just divine intervention? Tysm for your help

The errors you reported were some of the same issues I experienced after the update a few days ago, and posted just a few messages up.  That's in addition to the last exceptions and the animation error spam.

 

For me it didn't start until the recent update, for you  obviously on an older version.  Maybe there's some unrecognized mod conflict as well???

Im curious why the cum kiss has a romantic relationship requirement. Its not like our sims autonomously kiss every stranger. That its in the romance category is fine. Its just that I have sims that dont have a romantic relationship but sharing a cum kiss between them doesnt feel contradicting.

The current game version is 1.127.41.1030.
