I second this. I'm trying to download the Nefaram modlist and not having the 2.3 version is causing issues with downloading the list.

Then go and bother the author of Nefaram to update their list instead of forcing mod authors to keep up old versions...

Can't you give Ragna just the normal follower behaviour and dialogues instead of relying on an additional mod?

I think we need the extra mod only for the slave follower, right?

Yes, I'm not often salty, but for that matter I am in fact. For one, I'm a mod author myself and even though my mod is not that well known, I had exactly two scenarios:

One, salty list users who come and complain about a bug that was fixed 3 versions ago which they simply don't know as the list author didn't bother to update

Two, salty list users who come and complain about a list that doesn't work because I take old and unsupported versions off the downloads.

 

Now, where's the upside? The complaints about long fixed bugs or the complaints about missing outdated versions? And believe me, if I with my small mods already have this problem, you can't even imagine how someone as Kimy with their DD framework have to fight against this!

If you're talking about RDO; Ragna uses the female nord voice which does not have follower support in vanilla. RDO fixes this so it's only needed to recruit her. It's not an official requirement and it's needed for both free ragna and slave ragna versions because the way I did it they are actually separate actors pretending to be the same person because I didn't know how to make such drastic changes back then.

I already have DOM for Player driven slavery, but am looking to add NPC sexual exploration.

I couldn't agree more with this. Modlists brought me into Skyrim modding and I think they keep modding accessible. But sadly it brings in entitled people aswell.

Same. Modlist authors always ask users to never bother the mod creators for an outdated version, and to wait instead for an update of the modlist. But still, people continue to do it and on top of that, will argue with the mod creator until they are pissed off. Just wait.

Arguably, the fault here lies with LL not having a competent archival system. Instead, once a file is deleted it is gone, which is prone to shit breaking.

 

This also needessly makes reverting from a mod update hard - I may have used v0.9 of a mod, and decided to update to v1.0, and despite my best efforts, did not see the miniscule text at the bottom of the mod page, in some random spot, that v1.0 requires a new save. I now have to start a new game, all because v0.9 is not available without asking for it, and as we've seen here, being attacked for it (think "why didn't you keep a copy of the old version", etc)

 

Also, the lack of such a system results in exchanging a hypothetical issue - users coming and looking for support for an issue using an older version of the mod (and they never bothered to look at updates), with an entirely real issue - users coming and asking for an old version to be reuploaded, as the modlist they use has 800 other mods, with approximately 50 custom patches, all of which need to be tweaked to work properly with the new update.

No my mod does not include a matchmaker. You can argue that did2 does this once but that's a scripted player triggered all npc foursome that happens once just for flavor.

When installing this mod, when exiting an alternative start, a crash. I tried to install versions 2.4 of Vanilla Hair and KS Hair. Sexlab and Zaz are installed. What could be the problem?

Do you have the correct version of Zaz? From the mega download?

Orc strongholds are irrelevant to this mod and they only appear on the map probably just for orientation's sake. And I don't know what you want more than what the map already provides. There is no point to knowing which specific slaves appear at which specific places when the only identify they have is their skin tone and their hairdo.

The differences between LE and SE, different hair mods or not, and also some very special users who required a very special older version for their very special mod packs.

But there are two in the single 7zip file "Damsels in Distress - SE (1) - Spoils of War v2.4 ESL KS Hairs.7z".

Included is a directory "DiD1 - Spoils of War ESL KS" which contains all the files as in the root of the 7z-file. The file size is different.
