greetings, I'm creating my skyrim to be something more immersive with slavery themes and other more realistic themes, then I noticed your mod and thought it was excellent but I had a question for this one ( spoil of war ) and damsels in distress, it's really do I need the RDO mod? because besides it breaking other mods of followers, I don't like to play with follower, I just wanted the mod to make it more immersive.

 

The other question, is it already an esl file? if it is, then you intend not to update the file anymore, correct?

RDO is not a hard dependency. It's only needed to recruit Nova.

If ESL is in the file's name then it's flagged with it. I do still plan to update this mod, but unless people are reporting fixable bugs that are legit my mod's fault COUGH then I don't think any more updates until 1.0 for DiD0.

It works for me. Convert the nif files so the NPCs dont have missing hair and you should be good.

Quick idea: Just wondering if we can buy the slaves. War needs some funds. Let's say if we have $10K, we should be able to buy them from their slave masters. The slaves would be very grateful and may even willingly follow the Dragonborn and/or service him happily.

Sorry to be asking this but is this compatible with AE im having trouble launching a game, and if it is compatible what kinds of mods would conflict with it?

Is there any plan on an AE version? Because this mod sounds cool af, and not even from a lewd perspective. It seems realistic, like it would add to the game world, to the sense of the cruelty of the world and the horror of war. This sort of thing is exactly the sort of atrocity that I'd, as someone who studies history, expect both sides of this civil war to be committing. And there aren't many mods where you can potentially go around rescuing people.

 

At the very least is there another mod like it, with at least vaguely similar general concepts, that does work with AE?

 

I gather (from the Nexus comments) that at least the SFW version of your other mod works with AE. But is there something like, maybe, even a SFW version of this one? Or just an AE-compatible mod where there are warcrimes to worry about/maybe stop, or captives to possibly free (freeability not necessary, as I can just RP it), from the Legion and/or Stormcloaks rather than just bandits?

Where are you gathering DiD0 SFW is AE compatible? It wasn't made for it nor have I myself heard anything about it working with it.

 

Thank you for the kind words, but I don't want to make any of my mods for AE. I'm still in SE and I don't want the headache of "upgrading" and updating or trying to figure out how to rework it for that compatibility. I'm not dealing with the headache.

 

And a SFW version of this mod... no, that's not happening. It would remove the soul of the mod. A non-sexlab/zaz version is feasible but I don't think it's worth it, zaz adds too much flavor and convenience. There are vanilla alternatives to everything done in this mod, sure... ish, but I haven't found a way for vanilla cuffs to not be a pain in the ass, and the vanilla bound statics are extremely extremely limited and will get dry very quickly.

 

I've also just been incredibly busy recently. Sorry, none of that is happening. I'm not doing a vanilla version... (unless you pay me.)

Hi, Just wanted to say, great little mod you've made here. Works as intended.

 

I did have a few realism-related quibbles about it, and started tinkering with the esp just for my own personal use. It didn't make sense to me that there would be naked women on display in the middle of the Castle Dour courtyard where the soldiers train -- very distracting -- so I put prisoner clothes on them. Similarly, I didn't think camp prisoners should be naked, especially the ones out in the snow, so I dressed them too.

 

There are several prisoners who already have a lot of cuffs or manacles in their inventory. I didn't touch those, because I haven't come across them in-game yet. I think they're probably the prisoners you're able to buy from pimps, and I don't want to risk messing that situation up. Where are they located, in-game?

 

I hope you don't mind my tinkering. As I said, it's purely for personal use. Thanks for all your hard work on the mod. It's a keeper!

Wow, last time I saw this mod it was 0.9.5 I think, now 2.2, but with "spoils of war.esl" added inside... So ! I guess the damsels in distress.esl is mostly the same as the one from 0.9.x (date is still december 2021), and the new content is for those who are doing the civil war quest line ?

I updated anyway, but I think I'll keep "spoils of war.esl" disabled for now, not really interested by the civil war quest line...

It's fine if you're tweaking it for your own preferences, so long as you don't republish w/o my permission. The 2 pimped girls only spawn after you finish the civil war. Depending on who you side with, one will be free while the other is property :) Naked in the snow I can get, distracting I can get, but they are for fucking.
