Can anything new/good come out of new releases?

Recommended Posts

I have heard mention of scripts running faster, is this true?

can we expect any benefits down the road? Like there were from LE to SE?

Big thank you to all the modders for having to take time out of their schedule to bringeth us great bliss and joy. Skyrim wouldn’t have sold 1/100 of the copies without you!

although we might be pushy asking for release dates and what not, remember that we owe numerous great hours of in game time to you.

You can expect good things to come from tech upgrades.

However, you can also expect many end-of-life issues that come from getting rid, upgrading, or modifying features that existed.

Not every modder will want (or be able) to update mods affected by those updates.

New mods will rise up to handle some of the gaps, like they have in other games (and the transition from LE to SE).

Right off, it potentially means that there will be no more script lag or 'lazy scripts', so long as one's system can handle the increased speed. Mod Configuration Menus will likely never fail to appear anymore.

Of course, if the key mods are never updated, it will not matter since there will be no additional scripts to run at all.

If you had a working mod setup, I'd turn off Steam updates, stay on SE with what you have and revisit AE modding scene in about 2 years.
