Alternative to AAF

Hello Fellow gamers, ok to start i have tried to download AAF on the moddingham site i tried to create an account etc and for me at least its borked i've been trying for months off and on my AAF file is AAF beta 161.1 and now it  is no longer working i dont know why, i have been using AAf for years so i am out of touch with whats availible for an AAF replacer could a fellow gamer enlighten me please, in a nutshell me had enough now i want someting new (or old) as long as it runs with latest fallout 4 and is not too much trouble to install then i can put AAF in the recycle bin no offence to dago but what was wrong with leaving it here on loverslab. moddingham doesnt like me for some reason lol all best gamers thank you for future input.

My edit got eaten, but what I had added to my above post was along these lines:

 

If you want to run the latest Adult Mods, several of which continue to receive updates, then you'd need AAF. 

 

There's the older adult mod framework, called Four-Play, but then you'd be limited to using older mods built for that framework.  I don't know of any other adult mod / animation system for Fallout 4 that is current.

As far as i understand, his problem is not installing AAF. He cant download the newest AAF because he cant succesfully create an account on the new download page moddingham. Thats were the download page of AAF is now linking to instead of nexus.

I initially misunderstood the post.  I had no issue setting up an account and downloading AAF about 30 minutes ago, and it merged fine over top 161.

Hello all thanks for the help but i reinstalled my older version 161.1 and still it does not work (i tried to download from middingham again but to no avail) so i'm giving up on AAF maybe its a mod thats interfering but all the ones i have installed i intend to keep however i will keep the basic AAF due to commonwealth captives requirement (i just love rescuing the damsels in distress) but if any suggestions come in that dont have an AAF requirement i will gladly look at much love to all.

Probably you just have several aaf patches or old patches for aaf or other errors based on mods you have for aaf, but you think this is problem in aaf itself

What does "AAF1.61 not work" mean? I also use an older version of AAF to accomodate certain older mods I like, but I have also tested every AAF updated version to see if I can at least load it up and have the menu show when I push Home Key. They all show up fine.

Hello MADDAD It does not work for my mod configuration AAF does not show up in the ingame mod configuration tab so i have no way of starting AAF, neither can i download an up to date file on moddingham i dont know why i have tried a couple of million times but no worries my end i have decided to shut the door on AAF i'm not saying AAF is borked it just does not work for me thank you for your interest all best.

Hello Indarello i had installed all the latest patches bar the upto date AAF which i could not download for some reason i could not even register dont know why but now i have gone beyond caring thank you for your interest all best.

AAF isn't designed to show a menu in the mod configuration tab, that is why you do not see it there.  You can check the documentation in the link I gave you initially, there's a configuration file that is stored in \Advanced Animation Framework (AAF)\AAF\AAF_settings.ini

 

In that file you can do things like stop the scene from fading to black while the actors move around, set a flag if you want all clothes to be stripped, scale actors, things like that.

 

Here's more documentation that helps with setup and verifying that it works.

Hello Marg597 As you have taken the trouble to alert me on this i shall download an appropriot animation mod as i still have basic AAF installed and give it another go i'll let you know how i get on

Hello Marg597 Well it worked it seems the home key was the secret still no animations working but at least AAF is running i will download a few more animation packages and see what happens thanks again for the super detailed page you provided a link for all best.
