Midnight_19 Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 has anyone ever dealt with this bug before ? I rebuilt the body's in body slide and ran FNIS. I then Downloaded the newest version of Devious Devices and rebuilt the Body again. what could the Cause of this be ? the Devices used to work fine.
RohZima Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Well just try building that corset on it's own again just to make sure. I don't get why only the forearms is there though...

The only likely possibility is bodyslide not building it. Which would mean the wrong bodyslide files somehow.

I mean build the specific corset, just one to test. Then go into Skyrim folder, meshes/devious/ etc, whatever the folder location is and find the actual nif file and check the date on it. I think you are supposed to use 32bit version, yeah. Different type of nif for SSE and FO4 so that might be part of it.

Midnight_19 Posted October 31, 2021 Author Posted October 31, 2021 nope didn't fix it, Perhaps its because my Skyrim install was Transported form a different Hard Drive ?
donttouchmethere Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 I think I saw that issue before, need to search for exactly that issue. In the meantime, maybe here are some hints already

That could be the install. You need to confirm the minute so you know the bodyslide process is working. 17 minutes ago, Midnight_19 said: nope didn't fix it, Perhaps its because my Skyrim install was Transported form a different Hard Drive ? That sounds like it could be the bodyslide paths then. Open bodyslide.exe, directly from the game folder so you know it's 32bit one, then click settings in the bottom right. Then "re-do" the game path. Search for it.
RomeoZero Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Usually, if the mesh is rendered invisible in game but it is visually present in the "urfile.nif " file itself when opening with Nifscope, it is BSDismemberskin instance data ( zip data in BSlide) that is wrongly mapped or used for body slots to render in game, or DD uses the same body slot.

donttouchmethere Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 That one seems to be important too: Did you enable Devious Devices for Him when installing? If yes, did you put Devious Devices - BRRF.esp AFTER Devious Devices for Him.esp in your load order? It needs to be for the items to show up correctly. Spoiler

It won't be that because that would mean there was a bug with Devious Devices itself which would have been noticed by now.

I saw your issue in one of DD threats, but can't find the solution anymore. It's a pretty CBBE specific problem (or maybe if you don't run bodyslide from your mod manager (except NMM, it doesn't matter there))
Midnight_19 Posted October 31, 2021 Author Posted October 31, 2021 getting rid of DDFH did not work, maybe I need a New CBBE Body ?
RohZima Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 1 minute ago, Midnight_19 said: getting rid of DDFH did not work, maybe I need a New CBBE Body ? The body should be part of the nif for the corset. That means the problem must be with Bodyslide process. Can you maybe upload that nif as an example?
