Can I Reconcile EFF and AFT?

So, I have EFF because the UI and features are better, but I need AFT to run a certain mod. I am using the spell from AFT to get new followers, but when used on some NPCs only the AFT initiation shows up in the dialogue and not the EFF one. is there a reason for this, if so, how do I get around it?

Why not just use NFF instead of both?

No. This "improved followers framework" are exclusive. They are "there can be only one" type of mod. You should install only one. If you install more then one, you get a mess.

 

You don't get around this. You pick one. And then see, if you can do what you want to do with that specific follower framework.

part of what I'm trying to achieve hinges on the mods being a little broken that's why I am not just scrapping one. I just want it to be a little less broken.

the whole issue revolves around the make follower spell, so if there is a mod that would provide a surrogate for the spell, I think it would work, especially if it is compatible with EFF.

I think you can do something like this with Proteus, but I haven't used it.  I think Proteus is on Nexus and allows editing and creation of NPCs.

Why don't you use the MCM feature to force recruit an NPC instead of trying to broke your way around using the spell from a different follower mod?
