yep is the newest one i even reinstall

I did a little research and from what I found, racemenu is tied to SKSE and NIOverride.
I also use Showracemenu alternatives, if that helps.

According to Todd it just works.

So, quick recap to see if I understand the issue right. You're trying to save a preset and the end result seems to be missing the texture files. Is that the case? If so

  • Are you sure the presets work properly without these texture files? My understanding is that no every preset requires said textures.
  • Since you're using MO2, I guess the presets end up in your Overwrite folder, right? Thing is only new files go in there. Existing files are likely in the folder for another mod (Racemenu itself or another mod you installed or created to store RM presets). For this you can view the files in Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGen using the Data tab on the right side of MO and expanding the mentioned folders.

If you find the dds files corresponding to your presets in there, you can check in which mod it's located by looking at the "Mod" column in the same Data tab. Then you can inspect the content of that mod and move things to a different place or whatever you feel like doing.

As a general note you should avoid keeping your game or MO installs in \Program Files or other system protected folders. Anti-malware/virus can also interfere in the proper working of MO and other programs executing through it. So making an exclusion, pausing said security programs or running things as admin should avoid a wide range of problems related to things not working as expected due to system/software restrictions.

tyvm for the reply i solved the issue it seems custom races don't create the .dds file i load the preset+nif as a nord and save again and all work correctly (dds created) the presets work without the dds but it don't work  to someone else.. thanks again ^^ hug

A preset is just the jslot file. The nif and the dds are only for heads. So if you hit 'create preset' then you get a jslot file in the \Data\SKSE\Plugins\chargen\presets folder. If you hit 'export head' then you get matching dds and nif files in \Data\SKSE\Plugins\chargen.
