No animations -SexiS, SexLab

Greetings! 

 

     I'm having an issue where once I cast the "Irresistibly Attractive" spell on myself or NPC no animation occurs and likewise with SexiS Cupid.  I've scoured the LL site for answers but none seem to be specifically what I'm experiencing.  I cast the spell and the NPCs line up, equip strapons, but continue to play their idle animation.  I deleted the idle animation file (mt_idle.hkx), FNIS as admin, but now they just stand there in front of each other after the confirmation that an animation should be taking place.  I update FNIS as admin and run SKSE as admin but it still does nothing.  I have the Sexlabrameworkv101 as well as the Sexlabresources 20130511 installed with the only plugin associated with them being Sexlab Matchmaker. 

 

     I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but every plugin I'd used previously (such as the Cupid plugin) yield the same results.  Animated Prostitution & Sex Addicts work fine for me as well as every other mod from here and animation... maybe one of them is incompatible?  SexiS acts the exact same (SexiS Core & SexiS Data installed) way with it's plugin, SexiS Cupid, doing the exact same thing. 

 

What am I missing? 

 

Thank you for the great mods and support. Sex Addicts works great but there's very few animations so I want to expand into SexiS and/or SexLab but it's getting rather tedious considering all the spells are there, strapons equip and line-ups occur ... there's just no animations.  Please let me know if any additional information is required.  Thanks again!

Do you get the SexLab line when running FNIS? Also make sure you have arm fix patch enabled in FNIS and any other appropriate patches as well. Also check your debug log for any sexlab errors being printed when sex should be happening.

I just did a clean install with only SexiS and Cupid and the animations did play for that.  I then installed SexLab  and those animations did not work but the SexiS ones did with both installed.  It's an improvement since before they both refused to start.  I applied all patches and fixes and the FNIS states that it does read Sexlab with no errors.  Are these two incompatible with each other?   After I cast "Irresistibly Attractive" undress occurs and the animation title shows up.  I can press the "O" key to change positions and the position name appears, the characters jump about each change as if trying to start, but there's no animation for it.  I have only SexiS and SexLab installed with their appropriate data, resource and framework files.  It's strange because SexiS is working fine now but SexLab just refuses.  I'll try to get the Debug to generate something.

You did it, friend!  It was an FNIS error.  I noticed some of the patches were ticked that ought not be and un-ticking them, generate, worked.  Thanks a lot for your time and consideration.  I knew it was something painfully simple but those are usually the problems I have the most trouble with.  Thanks again for the awareness.  :)

No problem. Though honestly I'd highly recommend disabling AP and Sexis. AP tends to cause a lot of issues and bugs, and SexiS is outdated and no longer maintained, not to mention redundant when used with SexLab.

same problem here, tried ticking and un-ticking in fnis but didnt work, i get the sexlab line, and enabled the arm fix patch only, same result no animations, just idles, what should i do? i also uninstalled ap, and i dont have the sexis mod

No problem. Though honestly I'd highly recommend disabling AP and Sexis. AP tends to cause a lot of issues and bugs, and SexiS is outdated and no longer maintained, not to mention redundant when used with SexLab.

 

I am totally with you...But I recommend not just simply disable AP or other mods... Be SURE . complete uninstall AND remove ALL files!!!

It makes it much easier to find solution in case of trouble

removing/uninstalling ap didnt work either, every time i cast the spell the pc and npc just line up and the message shows which position they are in, but they are actually just idle, i have mini lovers/sa but i dont think those mods are causing it not to work, what could it be?

Try to do upgrading steps from SexLab framework topic. I had same problem as You and it worked for me.

You mean reinstall? i already have the latest version, i reinstalled sexlab and didnt work still no animations, i also removed all other animation mods, but no improvement

I appreciate the advice.  After reviewing the (finally) working SexLab it has everything the others have and more... just better, more fluid animations. 

 

What I did to get it to work was clean re-install of Skyrim, install SexLab as per instructions then installing a lower version of FNIS from 3_5 to 3_2 and unticking everything except the arm fix.  Nothing worked until I downgraded FNIS.  I suggest giving that a go?

okay ill try that one, did you use the same save where you uninstalled sexlab or did you use a clean save in reinstalling it? i also have sa and ap mod and they work well but sexlab doesnt, did you uninstall any other animation mods like ap?

Having to downgrade to 3.2 to me says you have something horribly wrong with your install of skyrim or some mod somewhere. I'd suggest tweaking until you get 3.5 working rather than downgrading. You're more or less just hiding the problem by doing that, not fixing it.

OK so 2 thins 1 enlish is not my lenguage and 2 the g on my keyboard is kind of busted so sorry for the thyphos , i install Skyrim and play as a succubus race , animations dint work , i got angry and spend more time serching for the problem that pplaying the ame , the problems was that FNIS dint detected the animations try and try and only anger , but after i stop jerking off to mizzbonjovi video  (http://www.pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=735689811) i saw that the issue was  ModOrganizer dont install animations directly in the data folder so FNIS was no able to find it , so i install FNIS in there (ModOrganizer) and run it and presto the issue was solve -it work for me dont know if ggonna wor for anyone else, ModOrganizer ask to run FNIS and all the animations were there
