Game launching without mods?

Hi Everyone,

 

First time modder, so i am probably missing something. I have followed all instructions on how to install mods using vortex, however when launching the game, it is vanilla.

Yes this will be PEBCAK. Can someone steer me in the right direction please?

 

I have tried to begin with the AAF Hardship mod (and all the mods it requires)

 

Also apologies if this has already been covered in this forum

have you installed F4SE - Fallout4ScriptExtender ? most mods need it to work. you also need to launch the game via F4SE

The game must be started with the F4SE Launcher.

When you say the F4SE launcher.. in Vortex there is a Fallout 4 Script Extender that will launch the game. I am using that and not the normal Fallout 4 launcher.

i guess you made the INI changes too ?

no. you should be fine with this. maybe it's a vortex problem. sry i'm a MO2 user. but best is to write your problem in the steam forum. maybe there people can help you
