Looking the best way for upscaling some textures

I tried upscale the hair texture of my favorite hairstyle Mod (1K to 2K) using the page letsenhance.io

 

First I converted the DDS image to PNG with "Format Factory" then I uploaded the image to letsenhance.io upscaling with the auto settings to 2K, I received the image in JPG format, then I converted it to TGA 32 bits with my old Photoshop, and converted it back to DDS with Cathedral Assets Optimizer

Apparently there was a significant change, but what i would like to know is: can I get better results using other methods?
