Editable nipples proof of concept

Tried to make editable nipples for sims, here's a proof of concept, I don't know much about editing sims 3 textures so I ended up with white artifacts around the texture, just wondering if anyone with talent can perfect this, used a tattoo CC as a base. You're going to need Cmar's tattoo mod to place over the nipples. Test package below.

Don't be a wimp! (My way of encouraging you) You started it, now go find the rest of what you need to see if you can finish!!! ?You have XCAS, so you also have Tattoo-a-nator??? I think that's how it is spelled... I know there are tutorials for it. Image editor, I use GIMP (free). There are others... Paint.net, Photoshop, of course...

 

I never thought about doing what you want, but as skins have areolas, it might be a tricky balance between too solid of an overlay and too transparent. I would imagine it would need to be some level of transparent, and feathered toward the edges.

But I can't find nipple tattoo location. In file description from MTS, it says, nipple and pubic area are optional, what should I do to get it done?

I have that one in my mod folder, but there's no nipple location in game... Do I have to do something further?

It's been sooooo long, but there is a mod that increases the number of tattoo LOCATIONS.

 

The nipples were located on the full body or something like that - not the chest area.

Not sure but think you need also to have cmar_XCAS_corefulXX.package installed. This is a core mod.

Easiest way to find it : Download Passion, extract it into a TMP folder and select the one what fits to your game version.

(cmar_XCAS_corefull67.package or cmar_XCAS_corefull69.43.package)

By the way, do not install the CmarNYC_Penis.package unless you remove all other Cmar stuff from your mod folder.

CmarNYC_Penis.package is a merged file made by Twilightstorm and besides the Cmar_XCAS therein is everything needed of all Cmar stuff.

(See the PDF what comes with Passion - all merged files are listed there)

Then I don't know what could be wrong. Just looked at Twilightstorms merge of the Cmar stuff. Therein is also

cmar_Xcas_TattooLocations.package along with cmar_Xcas_TuningTattooAdult.package and eight cmar_XCAS_TattoosForTeens_and then the game expansion package i.e. Latenight.package.......

What is really needed of all that to see the locations under Tattoo in CAS I do not know. I went the easiest way with this Cmar stuff and use only Twilightstorms Cmar_Penis.package and cmar_Xcas_corefull. This two along with cmars pregnancy controller is all what I have installed from cmar and missed nothing up to now.

Do I need to delete all camr xcas file before installing file you mentioned? By the way, another question, I have some duplicated files such as slidernumber50, 100 and sliderx2, x3, x4, are they making error??

I only have XCAS tattoo locations... none of the other stuff. No error, just that only one is working, and you can't be sure which. Those are obsolete anyway. Nraas Master Controller has options for CAS to increase both the number of sliders and range. I forget, I think I have 200 or 500 sliders set and x2 range. FYI, more than x2 goes toward ridiculous and you will probably never use. Nraas has other range tuning.

In case you refer to the CmarNYC_Penis.package I mentioned, then no. It is meant to remove ALL Cmar files except the corefull.

However, recommend to do a short test. Make a backup of your Sims 3 folder. Then remove ALL Cmar files but leave in the Corefull only. Copy in  just the CmarNYC_Penis.package from Twilightstorm and start the game. Then it should work if you do not have other mods installed what can cause your error.

Later then look into the PDF from Twilightstorm to see what all is in the merge. Find out what you had in addition (not XCAS) and copy it in. I.e. the pregnancy controller.

If you do not have Twilighstorms PDF on hand, refer to the txt file here attached. Therein are all cmar packages listed what is in the merged CmarNYC_Penis.package.

Yeah, I bumped this up recently myself to be sure I could see all the newer ones I've added. The 'facial' sliders, not the body sliders (of which there are like 5 max).

 

Many new ones I have are those 'asymmetrical' (thanks for reminding me of the proper nomenclature a while back) sliders for mouth, eyes. etc. They REALLY make a difference when creating characters. IRL one can use a mirror to 'double' one side of the face into a whole face. When comparing the effect on both sides of the face, it looks like 2 different people. The eyes still 'sees' this even though one needs tricks like these to make it obvious.
