Mods not working

I put whicked whims into my mods folder and some other animation packages, and only whicked whims and the animations that come with it work, but the animations I added won't work.  In the pictures I show my mods folder, then what it shows in game. Anyone know how to fix this?

Sims 4 Mods should be installed in C:/Username/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods

 

And since your just getting started...

 

Make a new Folder in Mods named WickedWhimsMod

Move the Two files named TURBODRIVER into that folder.

 

Make another new folder named Wicked Animations

Move all Animation files into that folder.

 

Do the same thing with Dildos and Accessories.

I use the folder named Wicked Toys.

 

Keeping your mods folder organized early on is a good habit to have.

When you add new CC like Makeup, Clothing, etc., make new folders for each Category to keep those files of the same kind together.

 

Script mods like MCCC & Nisa's WP should have there own folders by the name of the Mod.

Well, i make it visual.

 

This is mine and perhaps your /documents/electronic arts/the sims 4/mod folder

Mine is on drive D.

My animations are currently in "character items".

 

This is of course only a suggestion. Works for me though.

It isn't exactly the same, but I just started getting into this. inside of character items is an animations folder, then inside of that folder are folders of the name of the creator and the animations they made inside their folder.

Ok try just putting your anims in just the one folder....call it ww anims or something don't put them in sub folders....see if that helps.

you should get a pop up saying what animations you have when you go into the game...

I still don't think your Mods are in the correct location.

C:/Username/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods

Unless you have a hacked game of course.

 

The Sims 4 should be installed in your Documents folder.

It contains other files and folders the game creates.

Things like:

cache

cachestr

ConfigOverride

CustomMusic

Mods

onlinethumbnailcache

Recorded Videos

saves

Screenshots

Tray

VideoCameraStates

avatarcache.package

clientDB.package

Config.log

ConnectionStatus.txt

etc.

 

If you look for your folder that has saves & Tray this is the one to use for Mods

 

What's your game version BTW?

 

Look for the GameVersion.txt file and open it to see.

Mm.. remember, the game dictates where you mod folder is.

Most people have their documents folder on C:, i changed the location of mine via explorer to D:, so Windows knows where to look for.

 

Also, make sure you have up2date mods. That includes the game itself which should be easy to update. As Scorpio mentioned, this is important.

 

Check the file structure. You can see where everything is located or should be.

 

Other than that, i am not sure. 

Ah, one more thing. Do not forget to enable mods in Sims.

just to let you know, I figured out the problem and everything works now. For some reason, there was another folder that had a different mods folder in it and for some reason it was using that mods folder and not the one with all the animations. I don't know why that happened, but I fixed it. Thanks for the help!
