MCM menu mismatches

Has anyone experience mismatched menus in MCM and how to fix?

Hello. 1st, it is considered a sin to upload bmps. Anyway, I checked the pictures and I have no idea what you mean by mismatched menus. Elaborate please.

On pic here You can see what he means...

 

You can't rly fix it... Thats just how Author placed his graphic...

 He should divide screen resolution by 2 and his picture resolution by 2

 

so for example if we have screen 1920 pixels width and picture 800 pixctures width we will get

1920 / 2 = 960

800 / 2 = 400

 

now we subtract picture from screen ( 960 - 400 = 460 ) and we have pixel where picture should be... ( X = 460 )

 

Thats also SkiUI Team bad, because You can't just say to SkyUI "put that in middle plz"

You need to send X and Y coords where You want this picture to be loaded...

 

 

There is only 1 option to fix it...

 1) Find MCM Script in Your Scripts ( if You dont have PSC file jsut decompile it )

 2) change X value in LoadCustomContent

 3) recompile Script

Because its completly fucked... we should have option to get like X/Y Coord for MCM options start corner and Width / Height 

 so we can calculate where picture should be... but we dont have it...

 

 

You can still recompile Script and give X like - 20 pixels so it will move 20 pixels to left...

Sorry for the bmp's. For some reason "PRNT SCR" isn't saving as PNG anymore, unless there's another way to capture the screen?

 

Anyways the problem is the Menu's selections are for a different Mod in the example: MCM Cheat menu is actually showing the menu for Body Tatoos, not the MCM Cheat Menu.  I have numerous other mismatched menus also. These were just 2 examples. Hope that better describes the problem.

Well, I have one player (my male character seen in my LL avatar)  that for some strange reason has two instances of one MCM, one of which works, the other of which doesn't. Other than that... Nope.

You probably have one mod that don't know how to use MCM and he

 

 1) create MCM

 2) delete it ( but MCM dont know about it )

 3) create another MCM

 

That way MCM have 1 empty / unknown mod page

 You just have to find mod that is broken... and either fix his MCM ( that will require to edit Quests / Scripts )

 or completly remove that Mod...

 

Its rly good idea to upload ur LO and MCM List...

 If you added some new mods that req. SkyUI ( SkyUI = MCM ) then delete those Mods and start new game, and see if pages are fine in new Game

I have tried numerous times to resest the MCM menu. 94 menus rebuilt, sometimes only 33 get built. Sometimes it works, most of the time not. Even created a bat file to simplify the process. Here is my load order. Not the which is the least of my problems, as now my game, which used to CTD when using a crafting workbench, now completely freezes the game with my Ryzen 7 3800XT and 32gb/3600mhz Ram. But one issue at a time, so here's my load order. And I have restarted this game 3 times since buying it at Christmas, last year. Not really wanting to go through another start. That's an absolutely last resort and I'd rather give up and go back to the same old Fallout 4 headaches that I can't fix either.

Not sure what I did, but I'm guessing 94 MCM menus is pushing the limit and by reducing a couple and carefully disabling with Falrim Tools. The menus seem to be working again. The CTD occassionly still happens when crafting, but CTD is better than outright screen freezing. And sometimes it works, sometimes not. All around, best rock solid stability I've had in quite sometime.

Not always. For me it's the print screen button, and afaik has been since I installed the game  (F12 in my game is assigned to physic mode switching for CBBE-3BBB)

I actually have F12 mapped to ENB additional settings. Not sure how I did that.
