tinkergnome621 Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 I have been fighting this for some time now and need a bit of help. If I run FNIS with just DLC and ZAZ animation pack FNIS it works fine. If I add sexlabframework or any other animations. I get the error(76) thing. I made a new mo2 install and verified the behavior any direction would be helpful.
Grey Cloud Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 Your skeleton is not correct for starters. Search for FNIS error 76. Ask in the SE section. But first: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/136543-mod-organizer-2-other-tools-from-zero-to-hey-sexlab-is-working/
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 Your path points to data folder? is that like an nmm thing? I dont get error so I dont see my path but being a MO user im guessing my path is to my MO/Mods folder where I have fnis installed. Did you manual install fnis into data? Do you have fnis installed as a mod into MO?

tinkergnome621 Posted August 15, 2021 Author Posted August 15, 2021 I didn't even think about not having a skeleton, I was trying just the bare required mods to try and sort out the issue my main MO2 has around 240 mods and I am getting the error there as well. I did install my skeleton and I am getting the same issue.. And it is a mo2 install.. I installed FNIS as a normal mod and ran from inside of MO2.. It does its virtual file folder location thing each time.
Grey Cloud Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 This is still the LE section Tick the 'SKELETON arm fix' patch box. Try following the guide I linked to, it will be quicker than posting in the wrong place.

Do you even have a tools folder in your data? Shouldnt being an MO user, cant say with other mod managers. When you installed fnis initially did you run GenerateFnisForUsers.exe from MO/Mods/Fnis folder before you had launched/ran fnis from with-in MO. I dont recall ever having to set any paths with Fnis, I just remember it working.
tinkergnome621 Posted August 15, 2021 Author Posted August 15, 2021 I just noticed that bit about being in the wrong subforum.... My bad I will start a new thread in there. Thanks for the help
Sybastian233 Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 I saw this problem discuss on NEXUS FNIS forum, Someone says WIN10 Definder did it.
xKnightus Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) Just turn off windows defender before running/rerunning fnis. I don't know why this happens but turning it off worked fine for me Edited January 22, 2022 by xKnightus
crazycat639 Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Guys I need help my FNIS won't run and it always said "ERROR(76): Could not find a part of the path 'F:\Skyrim\Skyrim LE\TheElderScrollsVSkyrim-LegendaryEdition\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\temporary_logs\DebugData.txt'.
kevindaviesxia Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 I'm using MO2, & recently my FNIS has been struggling to open. when it does open I recieve the following error (76): I have done a clean install of Skyrim SE & MO2. Lack of FNIS only shows in Flowergirls scenes. Has anyone encountered this before, or can give guidance on how I can resolve this?
