Microscope?

I have been playing with Basemental Drugs, and it mentions taking a microscopic sample and checking it under "the microscope", which is nowhere that I can see? Is it the Analyzer that comes in the base game? And if I missed it, does it affect the quality?

I think it was on the Mod the Sims site that I found a mod for a much smaller desk size microscope.  Don't know if it's still there or works with recent updates.
