What games there are out there with adult mods that arent just nude patches?

It's just kind of... disappointing, y'know? You'd expect the adult gaming community to be able to come up with something more than just making a character naked.

 

I look at KOTOR and there are like 30 different nude / skimpy outfit retexture on Nexus, but not a single mod that changes dialogue or something to add sexual undertones to it. Come on people, Dominate Mind is right there! You don't even need to animate stuff, just have the screen fade to black and describe what's happening!

 

Or maybe I'm just not looking on the right places?

Starbound, I've personally got 3k+ hours in it, and seeing FauxFurry mention it is super exciting.

Skyrim, and Fallout are also pretty rich with adult mods. Starbound could use some more community love.

There is also X-Com 2 though its adult mods other than visual overhauls are a bit sparse and what is there is nowhere near the level of complexity as what is in the other games on that previous list.

To be fair, not much can be done without a proper toolkit. The devs of any game uses a strict kit of programs, most of which are kept under lock and key to create their games, without said kit there can be no serious alteration or addition to a game's functions. That's why Bethesda's Fallout and Elder Scrolls games have so many mods that alter their functions, because they publicly release the game editor for fans of the games to use. If several other game developers did the same we would all be swimming in adult mods.

If you are into oldies, theres also Neverwinter nights with the right modules and warband with either SOTT or dickplomacy (no diplomacy, same mod without sex) as Whatever says.

Problem is that you need someone equally skilled and horny to pull bullshit level modding without toolkits, as Blehbreh just said.

At this point is better to try to play porn/hentai games, since lewd modding is getting harder to do, as game devs/execs dislike mods.

Funny should you mention NWN because that game is what made me start the thread. I found Demonheart and A Dance With Rogues and was like "this is cool, why isn't there more of it".

 

I do get the part where modding is hard, tho. I made a few XCOM mods, and they took out like all my energy. And they were super easy to make voicepacks as well.

 

But still I look to games like Civ which have, like, 500 custom civs, and none of them is porn themed. I'm almost tempted to start one myself, but I know me well enough to be aware I'd never finish it.

The thing is, it takes a LOT more time and effort to make characters do stuff in-game, rather than just take off their clothes and whatnot.

 

For many games, it requires a good chunk of coding knowledge, which is not as common or easy as knowing how to use Blender or GraphicsGale and such. So, finding actual sex mods is much more rare than you'd imagine. Try nudepatch.net or maybe nexusmods.com. You might be able to find stuff there.

I've mentioned this before but it's difficult to find people with the knowledge and willingness to do it. An open source game with the framework to allow people to more easily create custom content and mods. Then people can tailor the base game with mods to be what they want.

NWN was good back in the day. Unfortunately it attracted a lot of weirdos, stalkers and trolls in the final days. Some from this site and some from RPG Codex which is comprised of nutcases in general. I was just reading a post on Reddit about RPG Codex where a mod for NWN called Celeritas got shut down years ago after the authors were harassed by some nutcases from RPG Codex and here. That reminds me, I wonder if @thhunter , @Vrigglow , BeyondThePale and @KarshKale are still trolling the last remnants of the NWN modding scene? I remember them from back in the day on the NWN Vault before they got banned.
