I tend to find myself more attracted to strong female characters, so I don't think it's fair to say that men's attractions are determined by their ability to dominate women (although yes, that is the case for some men, but not all of us). Strength and intelligence can be sexy too.

Aloy from HZD, almost any female lead/character from the Resident Evil series including most recently Lady D who is literally everything but a BDSM goddess in terms of her personality, and Rise of the Tomb Raider Lara Croft. What the hell does them being a strong heroine have to do with the ability to be modded nude? It's based on interest in game and ease of modding, not the character itself. I mean even Aloy who's been going through a bit of drama recently with "feminization" still has a couple of quality nude mods because of the interest in her, and the developers explicitly chose not to sexualize her. I genuinely don't know where you got the idea that modders would be afraid of making a nude mod because of the character they're modding (that isn't illegal).

Unfortunately I don't think I can just upload the mod for free, otherwise I would. He typically charges $10 for access to his mods so you'll have to talk to him, I'll show it off and send you guys his way once it's finished.

Those types of personalities are a cliche that video game creators use again and again, to exploit the male player in the sense of '' taming the beast '', which is not a '' beast '' in reality. Deep down, all those female characters are submissive of heart.

Aloy's Mods are focused on taking away the '' ugly '' to make her look feminine and silly. How naive and basic you are.

I appreciate the support, although I'd like to believe that's not the case. I know I've seen her request nude mods for other games (and it doesn't devolve into this kind of back and forth), so I do genuinely believe that she does want them. I might not agree with everything she says, but can we at least agree that we'd all like to see a nude mod, and that there's nothing to gain from disagreeing with one another's personal views?

 

I think it's in everyone's best interest to keep the mod as the focus of the thread (especially considering that, threads that devolve into arguments often get removed, and I'd rather see a productive discussion about modding). Based on one of the other comments, it sounds like there might be one in the works (even if it does end up being a paid mod), so I would at least like to see what happens with that.

I was the one who commissioned the mod, had nothing to do with "rubbing it in faces." This game has been out for several years and had no nude mod, I honestly thought this was the only way we'd ever get one. I would have no problem with sharing the mod for free even after I paid for it, but obviously part of the deal is that Irastris also gets to sell his work.

He was pretty cooperative and open to criticism the entire time. I critiqued the final version of the mod and sent him my thoughts, including some desired changes to the body proportions. Unfortunately I think he did some cost benefit analysis and realized it just wasn't worth going back to adjust and re-texture. For $30 it's not a bad job, Hellblade is such a graphically impressive game that it's going to take a lot of effort to make a mod like this fit in seamlessly.

The fact the mod IS NOT for sale anywhere and YOU pretty much have the only copies IS rubbing it in our faces since you're showing off a mod that CAN'T be gotten anywhere.

Then stop complaining. Game has been out for years and no one has taken an interest. Wait for a free alternative or pony up. It's that simple. No need to criticize others and start an argument.
