Sandatharius Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 So, for example, say I wanted to overhaul Eliza Pancakes. I bring her into CAS. I change her body to the Eve Body, change her hair, makeup, voice, her walk style, make that she can't get pregnant etc. I do this for ONE outfit. I then use MCCC to Copy/Paste hair and makeup over all outfits. This usually never is a problem. Hair and makeup will stay no problem. The only time it doesn't, is if they are in a work outfit that isn't part of CAS. I don't know how to have that change. Nancy Landgraab, has a Mob Wives suit and fedora, and some of what I changed will not stick to her when she's wearing that outfit. (maybe somebody could point me to how I can do that, but it's a rare occurrence, so not critical) However, where I run into problems is, when I would go BACK to Eliza after a game day or two, she has often reverted back to the standard nude WW body (from the Eve body) and her voice and walk are back to game default. Note that I am not *playing* any of these characters....I'm just recreating them to my tastes. Is the game putting things back and overwriting my changes? I should also add that it doesn't always happen (so far, anyway) I did Katrina Caliente and her Eve body was still applied when I looked at her in CAS again. Is there anything that I'm doing (or NOT doing) that I should change? EDIT: Just To Add: I had done Summer Holiday yesterday, and when I checked her, everything was the same as when I changed everything. So, it seems it's maybe Random Townies? Standard Townies like Katrina, Nina & Gina, Nancy, and 'stock' Townies seem to have their changes stick.

Otherwise you'd have to do it through cheat commands to access those outfits in CAS. I couldn't tell you how to use that method because the mod is just easier. As to why your changes aren't sticking, that's a mystery as I've never come across that. I've created lots of master files where I've edited every NPC in it without it ever happening. I can tell you that I've had a couple of issues with the latest version of MCCC where settings have randomly changed. One example is MCCC Cleaner. For some unknown reason, the cleaning function was turned on (it's off by default) and all my NPCs had their earrings removed. Also with MCCC WooHoo, I had turned off Naked hot tub use but then all of a sudden, Naked Workouts was enabled (which I usually have turned off). If you're using MCCC functions to help with the editing, it could be causing you an issue. It's only a guess on my part. Usually when I edit any sim, I select everything manually instead of using MCCC's Copy/Paste function.

My main issue is that I cannot apply any face changes, like eyes, and makeup to Townies and Randoms when they are in their work clothes. I don't want to edit their outfits per se....just to have the changes stick to when they're wearing those work outfits. The body mod and hair stick no problem, but as I said, other changes don't. I did some more experimenting yesterday, and only found one of the Randoms whose body went back to the WW default. The others were all still using the body, hair and makeup I gave them. So, I'm have another look at them today. Thanks again for your reply, and I will also have a look at the Life Manager mod.....

You should be able to do that as stuff like makeup, eyes, etc are all considered part of an outfit. If you're able to see the work outfit in CAS, you should be able to edit anything. Give the mod a try and see if works for you. Otherwise as I previously mentioned, there's a way to edit those outfits through commands to make them available in CAS but you'll have to Google that. Sorry.
Scorpio Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 One of the commands for career outfits is: sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas There is a difference between Career and Situation outfits used by Service Sims like Pizza Delivery, Bartender, etc. So sometimes you will get the wrong uniform displayed with the above cheat. Cheat has to be entered by the active sim being edited so it's a disadvantage. I use the 'Control Any Sim' mod to take control of NPC's temporarily to use the command cheat. https://github.com/TitanNano/TS4ControlAnySim/releases/tag/v1.2.2 The mod BatDood mentioned might be easier plus it allows switching outfits on Humanized Servos too.
