zax Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Transparent material could use some more work, but everything else looks lovely. BTW This thread needs more user screenshots.
drchoc Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 nice! pretty decent, but the knee high ones could just be a tad lower, w/ cbbe body they look a bit too high, they almost cover the knee. It looks correct for the red ones with the split in the back,(this type of boot exists IRL) but the ones emulating the transparent picture above are too close to the knee. If you could just take those ones a smidge lower from the kneecap, they would perfectly represent the boots in the pic and most whore gear that we all know and love. I request black versions of the knee high ones (the transparent style ones just a bit lower from knee if possible hehehe) and a lace-up white/black/color version if possible. otherwise, great work, thanks!
beazalbob69 Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 Thanks for your review drchoc. I agree with you on the under knee version. I am still learning how to use Blender, Gimp and nifskope so bear with me . I am working on more atm. Trying to make some latex clothes but will add more boots also. I am having fun learning how to do this. Bob's Boots V6.0. Linked from 1st page. http://www.loverslab.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=27587
majordespair Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 these get better and better, transparent ones are cool. any plans to make some non-platform ones? as in high heel but less platform on sole, simular to elwyn pumps i guess or df_t19.

I think the df_t19's are about the same height as bob's they just have a really thin foot or bottom that make them look smaller. Keep up the good work bob, cant wait for next update, hoping for update on knee high ones (little lower down the calf and new colors/styles, should be easy to do, a color palette swap would be great or a chopped one of the black laced ones u already have)
beazalbob69 Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 I have been messing around with the textures and meshes. I made the under knee versions a little lower down. I tweaked the transparent boots and I think it looks better. Also used envionment mapping on the patent leather textures and got them much more shiny almost like polished patent leather/latex. Should have an update out very soon! Also been working on some latex clothing having weight painting issues but coming along. Will be a separate mod. Hoping to do some smaller heel boots eventually. Also some ballet boots
Koy1e Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 u mean something like that?: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/215560//?

beazalbob69 Posted July 5, 2013 Author Posted July 5, 2013 Hey Guy's and Girls I am back with another update! Took me awhile to work out the bugs and get the textures looking right but I think I got it. Link to V7.0 on page 1 http://www.loverslab.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=32573 Please uninstall previous versions as folder structures are different now. Just delete Bob folders and Bob's Boots.esp. Bob's Boot Chest is located in Whiterun behind the smelter near the entrance to the city. Chest has the Boots inside. v7.0 Added many new boots! Black, Brown, Purple and White Leather, Black, Purple, Red and White Patent. Re-tweaked textures using Envionment maps. All boots are weightslider compatible now they have different 0 and 1 nifs. Here are some screenshots. I am also working on some different styles ATM. From now on I think I will just add to what is already here. More to come! 1
corwin Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 It seems I'm not the only leg man who's been wishing for high-heeled shoes & boots and a system that doesn't shorten the character's calves (already too short IMO). Thanks a ton for this, beazalboob! Since you say you're having fun with these, how about some non-platform boots as well? While you're at it, how about making them upgradeable at the workbench? I haven't had a chance to test whether or not they're enchantable, but if not, that would be another big plus...especially since my character had to give up her "Matching Set" perk to wear your boots. No worries, though, she likes them so much she won't give them up. Cheers, thanx again, and keep on chuggin'
foreveraloneguy Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Bob, these are way north of awesome. But please, I'm begging here, cbbe++ man. Also, it seems like you're doing a lot of work you don't have to. You've got a separate mesh for every pair of boots. Why not just do texture sets and 2 sets (thigh and knee high), or maybe 4 (if you need different emission settings in the mesh for the patent leather) of meshes? Gotta be easier than updating all those meshes and/or editing all the texture paths in each set.

Gotta be easier than updating all those meshes and/or editing all the texture paths in each set. Funny you say that. I actually had everything set up using texture sets at one point, but I was having problems with the HDT system and I thought it might be because of the texture sets so I redid everything! Turned out it was something else entirely and I wasn't going to do all that work again so I left it this way. It is just about the same amount of work to assign the textures in the CK as it is to assign them to seperate nifs anyway because you still have to create a different armor and armor addon for every one in the CK. Plus your correct, I would have had to have different meshes for the patent and non patent plus the transparent versions anyway because of different shader settings in the nif's.

I have been working on some entirely new meshes ATM with different heels and different styles. I want to do some non platform styles and probably will soon. As for making them upgradeable I havent looked into that yet but should be possible. The way I see it is that most of our PC's could walk around completely naked and still not be killed so losing a perk is not all that bad.
smoke1967 Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 these look great and with HDT little to no leg deformation...all that's missing now are some strappy, non platform, high heel sandals...maybe with ribbons / leather straps wound up the calf

But seriously man, any chance we could see cbbe++ for these? Me love them long time, but not quite enough to go back to default a default cbbe body.
hentaifreak Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Great work. Another vote for BodySlide support here!
beazalbob69 Posted July 8, 2013 Author Posted July 8, 2013 Small Update to the ESP. Added the ability to craft boots at a forge. Just overwrite the ESP with this one. Bob's Boots V7.1 Obsolete Use version 7.2. Bob's Boots v7.1_ESP only_Crafting Added.7z
lunarsage Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 These are freaking awesome! I hope you can find time to make conversions for other bodies!
The Matrix Prime Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 I really like these boots! Unfortunately they majorly clip with Megalov's CBBE-ML body from the knees upwards. =(
foreveraloneguy Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Perfect for my assassin character. Emission (or whatever makes the spots glow) on the mesh might be a tiny bit high, but otherwise, I'm seriously loving these.
