This is cool but I wish there where more bodyslide compatible shoes.

I really like these boots!

Unfortunately they majorly clip with Megalov's CBBE-ML body from the knees upwards. =(

Yeah, hopefully there will be support for more bodies!

I have looked into making these boots bodyslide compatible but the amount of work involved would be monumental. I only use CBBE at 0% weight so that is what I focus on. I would love for someone to make these bodyslide compatible. As I have mentioned before anybody can do whatever they want with these boots, retexture, mesh mods, etc I don't mind just mention me if you release anything please and maybe point them back here as I am still adding to this.

Another Update!

Version 7.2 7/10/2013

Just an update with new boots not the entire set. Must have Bob's Boots V7.0 installed. Just unpack the archive and overwrite when asked.

I added a non platform thigh high laced front boot. It comes in 3 versions Black Suede with Black Heels, All Black Suede, and Brown Suede with Brown Heels. This is a completely new mesh. These are not weightslider compatible I only made the _0.nif so far.

Also added the ability to create all of the boots at a forge. Boots are under Leather now instead of Misc so you should be able to get the matched set perk.

Screenshots of the new boots.

I'm curious why you think this would be more work? You make one mesh, then use stuffed bunny's scripts to generate the slider bsd files, then just edit one of the existing config files to make the bodyslider file. I keep trying to get the hang of 3DS, but so far, everything I've tried to do in it has turned into a giant mess, so I'm probably not the person to work on that.

I haven't heard of this script before I will have to look into it. Thank you!

Go to http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32731/? and follow the link for tools for bodyslide modders. That contains the rebol scripts. You can even set up a batch script so you just run it once and it'll spit out the bsd files you need. You could also contact chronotrigger here or on nexus if you need help. Bunny is burned out and taking a break.

I'll give this a shot and let you know. You should add them to a group though, to make them easier to find. I'm attaching the file I made to show what I mean.

On a side note, I played with the specularity settings in the meshes, and found that for the patent stuff, anything over about a 10-15 gives sparkles/flashes when running ENB. It also happens without ENB, just to a lesser degree. I set a few meshes to 10, and they still look like patent leather, at least to me, and they don't sparkle.

OK, the bodyslider meshes work, sort of, but I get a lot of tearing with them. Here are 2 pics, the first showing the black suede mesh after going through bodyslider, and one of your patent leather platform boots with the specularity setting reduced to 10. One thing to note: don't be fooled by the "shiny" body. I edited the body meshes to get a wet look. My specular settings in ENB are very conservative as you can see from the other NPC sitting at the table.

OK, I found the problem with the bodyslider version. You seem to have tried to use the _0 nif to create the bodyslider files. You need to port the mesh to the base shape (calientebody.nif) from calientebody directory in bodyslider. Or you might be able to get away with using an _1 nif for curvy.

Not sure what you mean by this how do you port the mesh to the base shape noob here I also get this problem on a lot of the clothes which I asked about but I haven't gotten an answer yet...

You're correct I did use the _0 nif as the base. I will try to do it again with the _1 nif and see how it goes. If it works ok should'nt be too hard to do the rest from that point.

I get the tearing as well with bodyslide version (all versions actually). I hope you can get it to work, Bob.

Nonetheless, thank you for these wonderful boots!

1) You're picture is too small for me to tell what you're talking about, other than it looks broken. I can tell you're running sliders way past 100, which can cause distortions. 2) you should really ask this in the bodyslider thread.

I tried it with the _1.nif and it still ain't working. Still tearing but not as much. :( I will have to rework the mesh to fit the baseshape for bodyslide. I will upload it when I get it right.

They do appear to mostly work. There's a bit of clipping while running near the calf, and the lower leg seems a lot skinnier than my normal bodyslide setting, which is just the default cbbe leg size.
