I tried to copy and save the crash report, but for some reason it didn't save to my clipboard and now the save file in question is refusing to load at all. Â The error had something to do with pregnancy, though, and it mentioned Primae Noctis specifically. Something about a time tick? I've also seen the event log on the bottom left of the campaign display pregnancy related errors on occasion. They flash by too fast to see because I'm using the Separatism mod and a lot is happening all the time but I sometimes see the word Null in the report before it vanishes. Â Sorry if this is vague. No idea really but if you send me the save maybe I can figure it out. 1
Wooded Meadow Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 (edited) I fiddled with the Pregnancy+ setting in Marry Anyone and that seemed to make the issue go away. Not sure if that interaction was causing the problem or if it just overrode other interactions and made them stop. I'll come back if it pops up again and I have a reproducible save file I can give. You should make a backup save first. Next version I put out will definitely break saves though because I will be decreasing save file size + lowering load times with it.  Right now I'm almost done putting in basic implementations for most of the extended laws. After that I will do a lot of polishing of existing stuff to match release date of the game maybe.  Actually I guess I will add this next, seems rather necessary before I add other events that might rely on it: "cavorting" system where you can wait in towns/villages and get random events with some decisions. Nibbler2345 Posted September 11, 2022 Author Posted September 11, 2022 (edited) Yeah after starting a new campaign finally, I'm feeling like there won't really be enough content as it is for everything I want to do, so I will certainly be trying a system like this next:  // Cavorting system // Like a wait menu in villages/towns where automatically engage in partying in the town to get events // You can choose to waste various amounts of money/buy endless drinks for people at the tavern/spend money impressing random folks which will empower the events further // Can gain some of charm experience this way (smaller amount of losses to other skills due to being a drunken lout?) // Will be a way to try and improve relations with notables in town (but worse than questing so questing doesn't become useless) // What events you get and what can happen in them based on your attributes, skills, traits, local town situation, etc // For instance if you tempt everyone to get drunk all day in a small town tavern, propserity might suffer, or maybe all the gold you spend actually helps local economy. Going to have to think carefully about the formulas for this // If you get someone pregnant you're not supposed to, relations with a notable might go way down, for instance, although if you have certain laws maybe not (this is the type of content I need for actually interacting with the laws) // Interesting rare events where someone [need to come up with some good ideas] or you get the opportunity to [need to come up with some good ideas] // If you cause too much trouble in a town for too long a period, people might get sick of you over time if your personality related stats aren't that good, making it a thing you should maybe not overdo/gradual cooldown mechanic for each location // Consequences greatly lessend in cities because they are huge and you're just one drunken asshole // Not sure what effect your army should have, maybe morale loss because the CO is just fucking off all day, or the locals don't like them hanging around if they're a different culture. The "percent enacted" is 103%. Â I don't see new dialogue options though. Or that wasn't the Tradition you coded? Â And how does Luck work? I see it decreases with enacting Traditions. That'll come once I'm finished with the current stuff and start polishing up existing features. For instance you still can't even choose what kind of stuff you want to do as a king yet. Luck isn't quite implemented yet but it will have subtle effects on things like saving you from fatal damage once in awhile or giving better RNG in events. It might be a lot of work to add specific scenes for those, since probably the target should act very differently in each situation. 2

Nibbler2345 Posted September 16, 2022 Author Posted September 16, 2022 Yeah it looks like something to do with equipment (probably from one of the other mods) + war wives, one of the more dangerous parts of the mod since equipment is tricky compared to other stuff. I don't really know, but i'll go over the equipment saving code again and add better error handling.
