LittleRedSonja
Hi everybody, i am new around here When using this mod i see that the attraction degree between 2 sims changes over time, even when body, weight, clothes, or age does not change. For example my sim meets another sim and it says "extremely attractive". I freeze appearance, muscle, and body weight for that sim using mccc so it never changes. A few days later i check the same sim, nothing have changed, but now its only "attractive".... I have the "attractiveness dynamic world switch" UNCHECKED. I am using version 1.65 c. It happens also the other way around: My sim meets another sim, it is only "attractive", or "basic looking". A few days later, unchanged sim, it is "very attractive" or "extremely attractive", for no clear reason. Like i said, the sims are exactly the same, i have not touched my sims attraction settings, and the dynamic system is OFF. This means that, even when i try to stick to sims that my sim finds "very attractive" or "extremely attractive" for roleplaying purposes, i end up with a bunch of relationships with "basic looking" or "attractive" sims. Any idea or feedback would be really appreciated, because it is a bit frustrating Thank you. Edited June 9, 2021 by babuchas Link to comment
Kashked
Are they using the same outfits all the timw? Clothing and clothing colour can make a huge difference, as well as makeup and other details that change with the outfits. Link to comment

Note: WW only detects attractions based on the Everyday Outfit. With Attractions active make sure you don't use any Likes/Dislikes in CAS related to Gender or other sims attraction preferences. In fact it's a good idea to check CAS first and make sure none are selected as Likes/Dislikes. On your active played sim in game find his Attractions menu: Only select your Gender preference. Next is Appearance Construct: Feminine/Masculine (uncheck all boxes to none)(tags are all messed up for both genders so avoid using these). Go through all the other colors and body preferences and make sure to unselect any and all chosen. The only ones I use are Makeup, Jewelry, and Glasses, (My CC Lashes are considered as glasses because they use the same slot in CAS) I also pick Straight Hair type as many of my CC hairstyles used are straight hair, but I don't select any hair lengths. You can also use Eye Brow shape and Voice Type as Optionals. (These are the easiest to control in game with editing sims in CAS) The general idea is 'Less is More' when picking attraction preferences otherwise it becomes to picky. ***(Cheat: Use MCCC to give your sim/s the Unique Appearance Trait and all NPC's will think he is Attractive or higher)*** Shift+Click on another sim and select Relationships > Attractiveness Note the data info displayed, close the box and open again with Notification menu to see the complete list. Watch the Scores at the top change when you change preferences or edit sims in CAS. Your looking to achieve: High/High, High/Very High, or Very High/Very High White 100% items are things that other sim actually has equipped but your sim doesn't have set as a preference yet. Match your sims preference to those few at 100% but avoid anything less than 100%. They will then turn Green after you do the Shift+Click on them again. Purple numbers means your sim has a preference chosen that the other sim doesn't have, so now you can edit them in CAS to add or change the item. Probably forgot something as WW Attractions is quite complicated. 1 Link to comment

If that's happening then it's a new bug as WW would likely explode if it had to track that many outfits on so many sims. But if you have multiple Everyday Outfits then I don't know how WW handles those. It should only look at the first outfit but ya never know. With the game patch and WW both having major changes I'm not surprised. Make sure you don't have attractions set to dynamic. Link to comment

No, this is something I observed a long time ago, and then decided to never set any attractivness to clothing options ever again because the attractivness fluctuated way too much then. Might well be I was wrong, or it was changed a year ago and I didn't read the patchnotes though. I'll take your word for it. Link to comment

I avoid using any color preferences or outfit preferences for the same reason. Now EA has added colors to Likes/Dislikes and WW has adopted them. Because this is a new EA mechanic the colors are applied as global for everything. So I don't know how WW handles this new problem. But as I mentioned in my above post I deselect all preferences to start and only pick gender in the WW attractions menu in game. It's the easiest and best way to start out testing attractions and I can usually get 98+% Attractive or Very Attractive NPC's of the opposite gender. If you find that special sim you want as Extremely Attractive just give them the Unique Appearance trait. Otherwise you have to pick a few preferences the other special sim has equipped. Generally the more unique preferences you pick the more it changes all the other sims attractions too, unless they also match your sims preferences. That's why I pick Jewelry and Makeup for sure because it's quite common across many sims and easy to fix in CAS if not. Add Freckles as a push(cheat) for attractiveness and give them only to the special sims you want. Sims with freckles will now have higher scores and sims without them will likely be less. Or pick Voice Type instead as it doesn't affect sims looks. Edited June 9, 2021 by Scorpio Link to comment

I should make a Disclaimer too since WW is changing things with new updates. All my information was gathered using WW version 1.63h or prior while experimenting with attractions. Link to comment
LittleRedSonja
Thank you, i had no idea that i could check the attractiveness by shift clicking on other sims ? I still wonder why the fluctuation, but being able to check things is going to help for sure. I have seen some weird things, such as sims having modifiers for several ages (for example 10% teen, 80% adult, 10% young adult), which i do not really understand. Thank you again ? Link to comment

These are just some of the oddities we've found playing around with it and are preferences best left not selected for attractions. Body sizes are also a crazy mix. The ones you see at 100% across many different sims are the ones to use for attractions. Items that are just a single category without any details attached. Brows are only Arched, Curved, or Straight without any colors attached and are always 100% Although I've seen some EA brows that were both Arched and Curved, lol. I use tons of CC for that anyway but the problem with CC is the tags are usually messed up or have some missing. Spent several days fixing tags on all my CC makeup, hairstyles, brows, eyes, clothing, etc. Link to comment
LittleRedSonja
Oh! Maybe that is why most of the time the attractiveness goes down when i edit a sim and give it cc hairs, or eyes, or clothes? Because maybe the tags are wrong... I will check it out in the sims studio, i guess, thank you for the tips, i was a bit lost with that too ? Link to comment

Yes some of the hairs are tagged as wavy instead of straight or have long tagged when they should be short or medium. I tend to avoid using updoos and just pick long or medium instead. Colors are a mess sometimes which is why I avoid using colors for any preferences. Keep in mind new random sims generated by the game will likely have their own preferences set at random. Both @Scorpio and I spent a significant amount of time each going through all of our CC and checking to make sure everything was tagged properly. There's nothing worse that picking a hairstyle in CAS that is clearly Long hair but is tagged as Short. Once that's done, that's the biggest part of the battle over. The next step is to pick preferences that aren't really specific. The wider the range, the better success at having more attractive sims in your save. Edited June 11, 2021 by BatDood Link to comment
LittleRedSonja
Yes, i use only wicked whims OR wonderful whims, not both at the same time ? I have taken a look at some cc using the sims 4 studio and yes, some cc has really weird tags, and i have found why i see men using female hairs all over the place, because it is tagged as both men and female. Or a black hair not being tagged as black... And the same for people in underwear in the middle of winter, because it is tagged as winter clothes ?. I had no idea, so thank you, another thing that i can improve now thank to you both! ? About more attractive sims, i actually do not like to see that every single sim is considered attractive, i think it is more realistic, or at least i like it better, when only a few are considered very or extremely attractive, it makes the game more interesting for me, but thank you for the suggestion anyway, i will try to play a bit with different preferences. 2 Link to comment
