Disabling all animations of the same tag?

Recommended Posts

Is there a way or a plugin? Ex. all animations tagged "standing" will be disabled all at once. I don't think SLAL or SL Tools can do this if they can please do explain how.

Β

Edit: for clarity's sake I want to disable every single furniture and object tagged animation from a dozen animation packs in SLAL at the same time so I don't have to handpick them in MCM every time I start a new game.

I believe that this is what you want:

In fact they don't. It is however possible to disable unwanted animations .Β For SexLab it's simple, just deactivate them all, save the registry

In SLAL, you can activate only the ones you want, or all of them

SL Tools ,Β allows you to build custom animations, taking advantage of those installed. For example, you can use NCK30 Cowgirls scenes, combine them with each other or with Anub's

Β

I don't know if there is anything that can do what you ask, after all you are the first I find with a similar request

Β

Usually, I disable the ones I don't want, and if I see bad animations from a package, I uninstall the package

I think you misunderstood. I don't want to remove tags from animations. I want to remove animations with a common tag. In a perfect scenario I would input the word "furniture" and then every single animation that has the "furniture" tag will be disabled and will not be picked by SL when triggering scenes.

do it through sl mcm, disable all animations that shows it has "standing" has a tag.

Well this is what I've been doing which is fine except I've made a couple of save files each with their own mod configs (fortunately some allows importing configs to other save files) and I specifically remove furniture and object animations in SLAL by going through each animations one by one (fortunately animations are separated by categories in SLAL so I just disable the whole object category if there is any)Β I did it once and found out I have to do it again every time I start a new save file. Normally this is fine but I've gone "fuck it" and installed more or less a dozen animation packs so I go through each animation in each pack just to disable object animations. Just trying my luck see if there's anything I can do to make it convenient.

Standing tag might be tough, I do similar with feet shit, not my thing. But I just focus on name of animation for feet stuff,it's quick and easy and nicely effective.Β Β Sadly I dont think there is theΒ magic wand out there for us on this one.Β

Hold that thought! I may have gotten a breakthroughΒ I overlooked one of SL Tools features, it literally has exactly what I am looking for! In SL Tools' MCM page there is an unregisterer or disabler, it will ask for a text input where you put the animation tag that you want disabled. I tried it with tag animobj, I enabled all animations, checked if animations with that tag appears in the list of available anims for the scene then I disabled animobj tag and lo and behold they weren't on the list anymore! I've yet to check if it works for other tags but its looking promising.Β Hopefully I can also disable necro and snuff anims in all my save files with just a click of a button.

Β

Here's a snipper from SL Tools' mod page. I feel so dumb not noticing this the first time.

Β

UNREGISTERER:

Β

Enter the name of the animation or the tag of the set of animations you wish to unregister.
Use "Reset Animation Registry" in "Rebuild & Clean" in the SexLab MCM menu to retrieve the unregistered animations.
