We've yet to hear from them and they haven't made an update for awhile. I even try to figure out what could be causing this and it may just have something to do with the vanilla game or mod's limitation? No one is really sure at the moment so you may have to endure them for awhile. 

*Oh and it is recommended to put LL at the top of your mods since they change a lot of core files. It's probably the reason why you are encountering those idle animation issues.

I tried what you advised, and even reinstalled both LL and Xelsword's mod. Sadly, no change.

It's kind of weird. Basically, appearance 1 to 5 is the classic Shieldbreaker, then 6 to 16 is a broken "Dancer", with no change in the background image of the character screen. It's as if files were missing for some reason.

 

Edit:

Found what was causing it for the Dancer (at least): Butcher Circus needs to be enabled. I had disabled it, since I have no use for PVP in this game. I'll check for the enemy, just in case.

Hey i know this might be a bit of a noob question but what mods are these images from? The reason i ask is i what to use them but i have alot of the nsfw mods and so i was wanting to make sure if i have these images or not so if i do i can make sure they are not overwritten.

Is there any information on how to beat bosses? So in general?

Or at least how to beat the "Blasphemous Priestress" ?

 

Got here to 0, but she didnt die. Gargoyle heald here them and i whiped.


Gargoyle didn´t get damage at all since defence is extremly high, therefor i thought it hat to be ignored.

If you attack the Priestess, the gargoyle does massive damage unless it's busy fucking someone. Let a lady get caught, then unload on the Priestess. Once she dies the gargoyle will too.

 

By the way, the gargoyle can inflict a pregnancy that evolves into a quirk that gives +50% move resist and +100% HP. And if that lady also has Brand of the Demoness, they get +69% Virtue chance and 33% damage reflection, but they can't use buff skills.

I reread your post and it looks like it could be a bug regarding the Priestess. I've gotten a few problems with death animations being missing and the Nexus mods site did have a patch you could download that would remove some animations to reduce bugs, but this might be a last resort. 

Another thing that could have happened was that when the Priestess is hit while her Gargoyle isn't fucking a hero, it preforms a reactive action that gives the Gargoyle a turn. This weird reaction doesn't proc bleed/blight or count down debuffs so maybe its weird timing is responsible for your undead Priestess? As Damoriva implied, it can't do all that stuff if the Gargoyle is fucking someone.

I think your best bet is to try again and finish her while the Gargoyle is busy

Hello there,

so i managed to defeat the priestress with your and Damirova´s information.

Yes the death animation didn´t play, but i had no crash. The gargoyle died with an animation played, the priestress as well but just stood there in her idle stance (kinda frozen) and then disapeard. Mission complete. :)

 

It´s strange since the priestress can be encountered as a normal enemy as well wihtout the big gargoyle and if you defeat her then a death animation is played.

 

But that might get gonna fixed when the next major update is released. If i remember correctly from Halftilt´s patreon page, will be crimson court, which is in closed beta atm.

Hello! Are there any news on next public update? All developing information is behind paywall on Patreon and LL page hasn't been updated for several months already.

Halftilt is still working on the mod. Atm the Crimson Court Part is in closed beta testing according to the patreon page.

Unfortunally his main artist (Hrestir), he designed a lot of the monsters mods for Darkest Dungeon in general and for Lustiest Lair, is a ukraine citizens and because of "reasons" there is not much going on in forms of creating stuff from this side. I didn´t want to go to deep on that since my information on that topic are very limited, it´s basically what Halftilt told the community.

 

But to anwser your question, yes, the mod still recieves progress/updates.

Is there any way to just get the new/reskin enemies from this mod and nothing else? I kind of only interested in the softcore stuff, not the entire game overhaul.

Lustiest Lair does not contain reskins, only new enemies.

Most of the minibosses have standalone versions that add them to the regular game on the nexus, but the new bosses simply do not.

I'm having an issue where Trinkets and characters don't spawn. I just appear in town after the prologue mission and even when I enter and leave a mission. nothing appears. I checked another save without this mod and it's working there. I don't know what's happening.

Also, I think I see the problem. When I try to leave my game will crash, keep the stress, but not advance the week.

 

Alright, so it's either from Validating the Files or it was a potential issue with another mod. So, if anyone else has this issue, try validating.

Funny you mentioned it when I'm pretty sure someone was able to do a massive bara gay overhaul of DD in nexus mods that in comparison... there hasn't been a full overhaul or atleast reskin of all characters in game.
